not sure why the "lol", other than CA on ztn, let alone large CA on ztn. If there was ever a map too small for it, that would be it. Its worse than dm6 with 16 ppl.

dm6 is far from perfect, but still it's playable and you can have some fun on it if you're not looking for "super pro leet" ca

8vs8 on dm6 is ok tbh, i thought that it would be really really retarded, but in fact it's pretty fun, sometimes ofc the 2 teams are camping at each sides of the map, but hey, what do you expect, it's pub CA :P after all. Soz overall, 8on8 at dm6 is pretty decent for pub play

well, ca2 & 3 are proper 5on5 ca maps. Sure the positions are quite limited, but still,
it's pretty nice imo. And at least you can't hide for 50 mn :).

That said, i miss map1/map11/map12 etc :D

but there's also no proper meetpoint on those maps.
if you look at the large skaled ra3 maps and then look at the size of ca2 and ca3, there's a huge difference.
i miss map13, map15 and map7 :(

i mean like a _big_ place on the map where you meet for a clanwar.. like main on ra3map15 or 2nd on map11 etc. on qlca maps there are too many ledges and curves and small stuff.. ca needs exhaustingly big hallways and huge rooms.

but you could also say that "big place" can also be boring cuz it leads to spam fest or not really interesting situations concerning the positioning. I mean, most of the time it's "ok regroup to this flat area and then just lg or rl". But still, i kinda like this style of play in fact, cuz you know, ca should be more about skill/aim/whatever than "omg awesome einstein tactic" :P.

a "proper" map sucks...proper for 8v8 would be like an onslaught map...we want rocket rape from every direction.

Hm, i'd argue that the smoking/drinking breaks u get after being raped 8 vs 1 because your team once again refused to meet at any halfway decent spot are actually the most fun parts of the whole quake live experience
