This mod is dead, too many false hopes with their first releases.

Well in fact it's not dead if the top teams switch to this mod but i don't see that happening.

Even then, I think they overestimate the influence of top teams in a player base as old and stale as CS.

I think it's more a matter of sponsors willing to switch

What's the point?

Look at Source and 1.6. They're pretty different, but they want them the same.

They want to make Source look, play, act, run, and perform like 1.6. The maps, models, recoil, movement, physics, sounds, everything. They want it in Source.

But I can only think of one thing.

WHY THE FUCK DON'T WE JUST PLAY 1.6?!?!!?

It's like taking everything from Q3, and putting it into Q4. Why transfer gameplay from an amazing engine, and put it in a shitty one?

EG is just trying to capitalize off this and make some more money from it. I guarantee you EG.USA won't like it, but will have to publicly say that they do, because Garfield told them.
