That just isn't true, unless they have somehow reworked the tracking algorithm since I used it. The sensitivity used, plus combined input lag of monitor and pc will factor into how noticeable it is.

Supposedly according to some people on oc.net the smoothing has been reduced/removed on the latest firmware.

i have a CRT, 0 input lag.

some people even told me that if you don't play with 3500dpi with the abyssus, there's input lag. lol. I tried every dpi settings and couldn't notice any lag at all.

all these "tracking algorithm" theories are just bullshit. It's placebo, or others factors (like monitor input lag) that makes you think there's smoothing/input lag in your mouse. Or maybe it's just that you are using 500hz usb polling rate instead of 1000 ?

I tested it heartless, DA 2013 is fine on every dpi which is very rare for mice.
The 3.5 is not the same. Abyssus is okay at 3500 dpi, but at 450 it has issues.

you cant simply call something thats blatantly there if you look into the code "placebo" just because you are to inexperienced or naive to notice it lol... thats just the plain definition of ignorant

there is smoothing on the da2013 and its very very noticeable if you are coming from a mouse that has no smoothing you will feel it right away and its very annoying

you cant simply discredit people who are educated enough on the subject to actually look into the algorithm and see how the mouse works by simply saying "its placebo"

the da2013 having smoothing is the reason i sold it after using it for a week and this is after using the da3.5G for yeeeears and loving it which had no smoothing.. i was excited for the new da since i loved the last one so much but since it has smoothing i couldnt use it

went and bought the rival which does also have smoothing but not nearly as much at all.. i can play comfortably with this mouse

basically

i went from a kinzu to an abyssus and then FK then krait 2k13 and finally DA 2k13. Went back to the krait and abyssus and now i'll stick with the DA 2k13 i think.

all of these mice perform the same at any dpi settings (i tested ALL possible dpi settings for ALL these mice)

i haven't noticed any input lag or smoothing in any of these mice at all.

one day 1 guy told me that they said that if you don't use the abyssus at 3500dpi, it has some kind of input lag. I was using the aby for 10+months at 3500dpi and sens 0.4 ingame (~29-30cm/360°). Then I switched to the FK and more recently changed the dpi setting of the abyssus (1800 instead of 3500). And know what ? I play exactly the same and like i said already, I DON'T feel any input lag at all.

Now I'm playing at 23.5cm/360° (sens 1 ingame at 1800dpi and sens 1.5 at 1150dpi) with all of these mice. Do I notice any difference ? Do I notice any input lag/smoothing if not playing at 2300dpi for the FK, 3500dpi for the abyssus and 1800dpi for the krait and DA with latest firmware update ?

there again, source ? Who are those people that looked into the algorithm of the mouse ? Are they really trusted people ? If they say that the DA 2k13 has smoothing because they made some theorical calculations, will you believe them ? Can they be wrong ?

so, seems like every "new" mouse has smoothing right ? :) Or maybe it's just that you don't play as good with the DA 2K13 (and maybe rival aswell) as with the older version of the DA because of not exactly the same tracking feeling ? 500hz instead of 1000? Really, i dunno, but are you SURE it's because of the supposedly smoothing that you are playing worst or just because if you change one of your habit that you had with the DA 3G/3.5G, then it makes you playing worst ?
Changing mouse has some consequences and, especially if it's not the same sensor, obviously you'll need time to adapt to your new mouse especially if you played with your old mouse for YEARS. :)



Or maybe it depends on your monitor and sens in cms/360° (would mean that with my current ingame sens i don't notice any smoothing that i would notice with a higher/lower sens) ? What is your sens in cms/360°? What is your mousepad ? Do you use accel ? What is your monitor ? What is your usb polling rate ?

doesn't m_cpi(which is what I assume you mean since there's no c_ command that I know of) alter the way /sensitivity is read? i.e. have you tried m_cpi 0?

Using m_cpi at the correct value of you're mouse's cpi/dpi value should yield the effect of having:

360/sensitivity = cm/360

360/9 = 40cm/360

assuming m_yaw is 0.022 and accel is off.

Does anyone have the razer abyssus load customizer software. No one talks about razer software settings ...

read above heh, m_cpi is set to 450, so you have 9 degrees/cm (40 cm/360) set.

Sensitivity is in degrees/cm when m_cpi = your mouse cpi
