Thought I'd share my experience with the screen here... I have a VX2268vm at home right now and the backlight bleeding is truly horrible.
QL is actually playable, the 120hz works very well and the bleeding doesn't affect too much there, only tried playing in 1024x768 4:3. That's pretty much the only thing you wanna do on it.
Anyways I posted a video on youtube comparing 2 TFT's backlight bleeding. The L227WT is still a very crappy screen but it has alot less bleeding, even as it's much older than the VX2268vm.
Can't really recommend anyone buying the VX2268vm..
