Cool with me, I know q4 1.4.2 + Q4 Max 0.82 is great, and believe me, 1.4.2 is sooooo different than the first release of Quake 4. 1.0 was like Quake 4 BETA, they finally got it right by 1.3 lol. Once you get the hang of the movement in Q4, it's hard not to try and use the slide in all the other Quakes. Q4 movement is just smooth as hell.

I really only play Q4 Max 0.82 CTF and Duel/Tourney. Sometimes we'll fire up TDM, Clan Arena, Freeze Tag, ICTF for fun, and some game that's like King of the Hill, but not too often.

most of the other new features are in quake 3, so most people talk pure shit, crying about them being added to quake 4,

most people would need the engine to add them all, guiding projectiles need the engine or a mapper not to add nodraw anywhere, guiding projectiles from POV will just be removed without reaching the guide range max

to be able to use MP vehicles are a MP map restart needs the engine, the driver position eye/camera joint will be out of sync, but they fully work and usable without MP map restarts

its SP and MP mod, using 1 dll, both 1.4.2 spgame/mpgame SDKs has been fused together

theres nothing to look at, it should be fuck all other mods, q43a is instaPissonthemall with its big porno dick, and download the latest version on moddb, quake 4 has been dead for 3 years with every1 talking the same old shit

none of the new features will affect quake 4 gameplay unless you want it to, Q43A aint a nerdy mod, you can change the def files and alternative weapon fire all you want, and have you own custom damage set on your server..

no MP maps have vehicles in, you have to add them yourself if you want some piss up game or "team fortress" action with some vehicles, the walker is only the good 1 to use, and you can put them in some big industrial CTF maps

view frag/team winner at the end of MP games, is just something all MP games have, you can kill the score board and cheer/salute emote/voice taunt with impulses binded. etc etc

flalshlight and voicetaunts can be disabled in server setup, like most thing
