from what I can say, it seems reliable. I got paid out once so far. Took some time, but went well in the end.
Sinister is a 24/7 player, so he won most of the jackpots. The 20.000$ are definitely a plus for him, the ammo costs he got back way before.
Concerning the gameplay, its not quite as bad as it looks in the vids.
Nevertheless it is stunningly slow, as for the moving speed and the performance...although the graphics are very basic.
Well, once you got used to the slow movement, it can actually be fun. The weapons balancing isnt too good, thus you only use 3-4 of them. The railgun/sniperrifle is one of them. 60%+ accuracy are well possible for experienced fps players, and that can almoost guarentee you a positive balance already.
There is some decent variety in tactics. The most boring tactic, is to play every single game, and just hunt the jackpot keys, that eventually drop from boxes, that spawn regularly at fixed points of the map. Can be rewarding...looking at Sinister.

Making money from just aiming better is very difficult at the moment, since the ammo costs are quite high compared to the profit you can make from the actual stake of 100 health=25 cents.
You pay 5$ for 5000 ammo.
=> you have to make appr. 50 cents each game, to get back your ammo costs. Everything more is profit.
A bit of depths the game gets from the pill, that spawns after 5 mins, and rewards the one who holds it the longest/at the end of the game with about 1.50$ if its a small game (4-5 players) and twice as much if there are twice as many players et cetera.

Thats the problem at the moment. Often there arent even enough players to get a game started (minimum 4 in the waiting list). Seems like some people got discouraged by the gold jackpot being won. They are about to relaunch it soon, maybe then its gonna be more games again.

its not that bad. as i said, if there are enough games going on, you can make 1 to 4 $ each round. after ammo costs, thats an average of 1.5$ per game. At 7 games an hour, that equals 10$ an hours. I guess thats a decent income, for playing a computer game.
Being in the queue all day, is only necessary when you are going for the big jackpots....I couldnt be bothered, thats indeed a big waste of time then.

That's a horrible pay, sure it's just for playing computer, but... how fun would it be anyway.

Not great pay...Especially if the game is boring - think I will stick to playing games for fun until I'm good enough at one to make a living from one I enjoy (well, I can dream can't I?!)...

Biggest Entropia loot to the date is 23k $ in TT value (what the game maker guarantees to pay you) but there were items and resources looted that surpass 50k $ with market value (what other players pay for it). They promise to switch to CryEngine 2 this year, open space up and turn the original 'game for real money' concept into a 'virtual social/business/education platform' one (think Second Life with less freedom). Stay tuned, if everything goes smooth their IPO coming out this fall might be a good one =p.

you make very little money from this game, very little, hes just won 2 jackpots to make £13000 in total, dont go by the website total income amount, cos it is inaccurate and only shows the true money earnt by clicking on the player profiles. Everybody else has earnt nothing after spending hours and hours in game, which is why ive never bothered to play the game.

This concept is born dead.
