The ESL is putting their efforts for Unreal Tournament 3 into next gear. Yesterday started the signup for a brand new UT3 Demo 1on1 DuelGame Cup which was originally open for players from german speaking countries only but is now open to all players that want to signup!!!

The number of participants is not limited so see inside to read the infos & details and find the link to sign up.

I wonder how there will be servers ^^...

Anyway I played duel mode vs a bot yesterday, couldn't pick up items when I already had them.. Wtf? It's not like that in deathmatch.. Sure you can damage yourself to get the shield belt, but not for other stuff..

That's the particularity of the weaponstay, that's not how we are used to play, but I guess it will be changed as soon as the release comes out with the lil help of some pro-mods ;)

that is indeed an incredibly stupid mistake of epic...
by the way its been the same ever since ut1.
what people always had to do was dropping their gun, then picking up the same one.
but since there is no weapondrop function in ut3-demo we have a problem ;)

I think they actually stopped signups at 425 players.. it went up steadily and just stopped suddenly at 425.
