Following the launch of Windows Vista earlier this week, id Software has now released new retail patches for DOOM 3, upgrading the Win32, Linux and Mac OSX editions of their horror first-person shooter sequel to version 1.3.1. This version improves Windows Vista and cross-platform multiplayer compatibility, addresses potential physics crash, and applies various other improvements. Correspondingly updated SDKs for all three platforms are also available on id's overcrowded ftp.
