The Players of the Year vote has ended with twenty-one gaming websites, shoutcast stations and televisions from around the world picking their favorites for the Player and the Revelation of 2006 for Counter-Strike, Quake and Warcraft 3. The announcement will take place at on Monday, January 22, presented by none other than iTG's
Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham.
Nominees in Counter-Strike, Quake and Warcraft 3 were selected earlier this year and media specializing in competitive gaming cast their votes in the ballot. Past winners of the Players of the Year award include stars like
Ola "elemeNt" Moum, 
Dennis "Walle" Wallenberg and 
Anton "Cooller" Singov, among others.
Just like Epileptic Gaming, the show will be a live video in the EG Stickam profile at http://www.stickam.com/profile/epileptic. Alternatively, the GGL will have a short newspost where you can watch the announcement on the front page. If you miss the show, it will go to the GGLTV player just like every EG episode.
djWHEAT will interview prominent guests, including some of the nominated players and award winners. We can also hope for some surprises.
