The Spirit of 0ups is the first movie from the clan 0ups and its editor FuBaR. It contains the best Freestyle Tricks in Quake 3 DeFrag by the clan members of 0ups. It was more or less made within 2-3 days of editing and used 67GB Space uncompressed HDD space. Before this project, FuBaR had no prior experience editing videos. The movie is 11 mins 20sec long.

For the past six months on and off movie making swede Liquide has been creating his latest movie master piece VirtuositY a Quake III movie.

In October we were teased by the trailer released on the Team-Dignitas.com website but today the full movie is ready for all to download and enjoy. VirtuositY is not about any one player or a clan. It is just a pure Quake 3 frag movie, its all about the frags and the editing. Liquide would like to thank all those that contributed with demos for this movie.

Recently I downloaded a bunch of demos of some of my former qwctf friends and competitors. I found out they are still playing in international matches no less; as team north America. I was pleasantly surprised when i saw the game I once played played with such mastery and finesse. I knew then I needed to make a movie, not to show off some technical movie making skills (which i have none of), but to show off a game.

While developers are releasing more and more slow/dull counters-strike clones, It maybe nice for people to see what games "hooked" the previous generation of gamers (yeah even previous to quake2/3). When you see the videos, and imagine that this was what gameplay was like on pentium-166's with 56k modems and no opengl. You may start to understand how and why a game like quakeworld ctf was so addictive to play on the net.


EDIT: I recently released a short new video of some other footage I had. I didn't have much time to finish it properly, but there is some extra qwctf footage.

This is a neat UT2004 frag collection from j52.TeveT, filled with some great hitscan action, pumping beats and Swedish taunting!

Be sure to download a movie from one of Sweden's top ten TDM players and a jolly good fellow as well!

"Short Circuit" is a decent Unreal Tournament 2004 movie made by Electry featuring TDM and pickup frags from various Scandinavian players.

The things that make this work enjoyable are the well-synced frags and tasteful editing. Although this isn't a new "Unskilled 3", it's definitely a neat movie that will receive it's review. Whether this is a good or a bad fragmovie is up to you.

(I personally loved the ending. <3)

It has a controversial, yet nifty GFX setup and a real cool soundtrack. Some cool frags and weird tricks on a few non-standard maps. It's only Australian players casted for this movie as far as i know, but that dosen't diminish the quality one bit.

The movie Mavv and CptTrip's Guide To ET reminded me of the classic Phoenix Rising which is the best of these movies IMO :)

If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do, cause it's just hillariious ;) Very fun how they turn on and off rules like friendly fire etc ;)

I kinda forgot to complete this one ;) so better late than never.. ;)

I believe that this is the best video than you will be able to find for America's Army. The quality is impressive for 73 MB and its 12min 45sec running time. The sound is implemented well and the editing is simply perfect. The movie climaxes in the rescue of a hostage from enemy hands by Delta France, which is a good lesson of tactics and coordination for an assault.
