FRAGapparel is hosting a North American duel competition called FRAG OPEN in QUAKELIVE starting @ 14:00 CDT July 13th.
You can suggest 2 maps to your opponent not in the standard map pool from QUAKECON (Aerowalk, Furious Heights, Hektik, Lost World, Toxicity and DM6 added). The player not choosing a map has 3 votes to turn down maps to chose another.

The server will be made to fit both players in agreement and an ADMIN will set up a server. The player name in alphabetical order will choose first map pick.
This is a
doublesingle elimination tournament best of 3, with a prize pool of $1400 USD sponsored by
FRAGapparel, a gaming and skate company out of Colorado. First place will receive $700, 2nd $200, 3rd -4th $100, 5-10 $50 USD's + swag to all attendees. 1-5 will get a bundle of free swag and possibly some limited edition skate decks as they come in. Note that payout was changed later, see
