Better than my previous movie making effort but still could've done various things better (going to save the effort for another movie down the line) as well as Reflex demo playbacks missing some conveniences such as audio capture so I ended up using shadowplay hence why it's a bit more lossy looking. All clips are from Australian and New Zealand players from around June to October 2016 if I recall correctly. "Wavey" comes from ztk's excessive use of the word as well it being the first thing he said to me once I told him I was making a movie. Lastly for those wondering where I am lately Iím on hiatus and only popping In on Oceanic AFPS weekly events if I'm up for it. I will return after some more Reflex updates and to check out Diabotical once it's available.
For anyone interested plus a bit of shameless self promotion, there's a small but growing regular Australian/nz community playing Reflex and we have already seen in the alpha stages of the game 2 local duel cups, regular team game nights aka the legendary TDM TUESDAYS, fun events such as KOTH (king of the hill) and the revival of the loved pugbot in our irc channel.
The lust for CTF is very present and once that is released (soon according to devs) we'll be playing that relentlessly like the good old days in cpma.
We have a steam group and dedicated servers running so to get in on the action join us on the steam group and our discord channels.
For anyone interested, there's a small but regular Australian/nz community playing Quake 2.
We have a web page and dedicated servers running. The last month or so has seen several rounds of TDM and smaller game types and we're hoping to keep that going. So if anyone's keen to try some Quake 2 or even become a regular, come visit us over at irc: Quakenet #nein (temporary) and our webpage http://www.ozquake2.com/
