I'm very new to the world of frankenmousing, but when I discovered the perfect sculpted mouse but terrible sensor position, I knew I had to do this (I'm referring the the dharma point DRTCM15BK mouse). But here comes the issue, I just want to relocate the position of the mouse sensor to the middle (it is natively positioned on the top left between thumb and index finger), however all the guides/methods I have seen have people exchanging the entire PCB where the sensor is already located in the middle. Is the sensor itself soldered onto the PCB thus merely having to de-solder it and reposition? or must I actually cut into the PCB itself? If the latter, am I better off just exchanging the PCB from another mouse?
