I have suggestions for Ranked games.
- Make ranks by region (with current ranks - you are still able to see overall who is the best).
- Add another rank - Champion rank. This rank should be aval at about 2400 SR.
- Champion rank should be animated so your rank will be on fire or something like that. Overwatch have lighting around highest rank grandmaster and its super cool and ppl try so hard to get this rank.
- Add ranks for 4v4 TDM if not Deathmatch, new players will really enjoy and communicate with each other and be more addictive to play more quake.
- Add at least 20 - 30 games to qualify so ppl will have to play longer to get in competetive gaming.
- Add Leaderboard outside Quake Champions.
- Add ingame leaderboard search tab while waiting for a duel in ranked games.
- Add voice communication so when you enter the game it ask you if you want to join channel or no, and you are able to see who is in channel who has mic and so on.
- Add voice detect for communication not only option - push to talk. I personally never played with push to talk cos I cant play like that.
This is what I suggest. Feel free to add something more, suggest something more guys.

I have recently found AD from http://www.abbiv.com/ and GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G for 98. They claim to have like 80% or more cheaper hardware especially GFX which is true, but Im not sure whether that is true or false. I ve been checking their website worth and its about 2.000$ while for example Esreality.com is worth 41.000 (www.worthofweb.com/website-value/) then again I have checked on alexarankings and it says their global rank is about 1.300.000 which is really bad, then again I have noticed that this page might not be older than 30 days + there are reviews at each card written yesterday or same positive comments on same day, even hour. However, their page is really professional, eyecatching also their description is very attractive, but im like 75% sure that this might be a scam. What do you think guys? Please let me know.

Seems their slow QC progress, and each UPDATE disappointment such as LG nerf (for me personally - stopped playing after nerf) is making them huge playerbase loss.
What are your thoughts, what they need to improve. Maybe they will learn something from the community this time after seeing this TOPIC and thoughts of people.

Can you guys recommend pick between these graphich cards?
Yeah, seen benchmark and 1080 is better, but also depends on model. There are also used GFX cards that are people selling, but they are not much cheaper than buying new one.
I bought super computer 2 years ago, spent 1400 for my rig, but now Quake Champions came out and I cant run the game properly, It lags as fuck no matter how much FPS I cap or what resolution I set, but I m aware that I have too shit GFX for QC and this is something that has to be changed soon.
I cant stand this FPS drops anymore in QC and I dont have patiente to wait week after week for upcoming update and after update being dissapointed cos high priority issue still not being fixed.
My budget for GFX is about 500 - 700 - some 1080 cost about 900 - 1000, but I m not willing to spend that much for GFX, never did.
I ve seen a lot of people having 1070 and 1080 + playing QC. What is your experience? With having GFX of course on med or low in QC. Ultra or high is imo useles, or I m wrong?

I was having great experience with QuakechampionsPRO duel tournament!
There were max 74 viewers but all were so nice and engaging. I mean everyone was so happy about the tournament that participated. Even tho I did everything by myself and they didnt bother about some stuff that was missing. They even told me to talk at least something on stream as I didnt do commentatory cos of no experience and not great English. I was also affraid to lose viewers, but still after saying first few words ppl responded and started with conversation.
Im not gonna provide links of paypal or something similar to collect donations for future tournaments I will try to do all out of my pocket, but all weekly duels will not have prizes. Maybe 1-3 x per month I will give something. Reason why im not doing this is because of people like balkanfm - some Slovenian guy who is mentally sick or jaleous so he bring things up like im asking people for money which is not true and some other shit. So far I gave all from my pocket and I have donated tons of money to streamers like zlive, noctis, cooller, k1llsen, cypher,.. Some viewers have seen this live, but still after seeing live they started with shit like Im gonna charge money back which never happend. However, currently Im limited with the money as I bought myself a new car + Im renovating my apartment, but still I will be able to give at least some prizes.
Next cup will be this weekend (Friday 25.8) without any prizes will be just fun tournament and there is a lot of people who just want to be part of the tournament no matter if there are any prizes or not which motivate me to do this on weekly basis. Im really happy about seeing spartie and raisy in my tournament, but not only that. They were happy that they could participate and they were extremely nice to me.
PS: Today I got instead of 1-2 viewers 10-15 / 20 viewers when I was playing pub games in QC. So for me personally this is a great improvement. With "give aways" I did nothing but just had ppl on my stream to collect the money, but making tournaments help me a lot and im really thankful who join, watch follow and enjoy in my company.

Ive been thinking to make a tournament to win a new Zowie FK2. Yeah I know I was already talking about monthly tournament with prize money but negative reaction of ESR comminuty dismotivated me to spend any money for this. When I started streaming I was having weekly giving awayl 10 or 20 but that didnt help to get more followers or viewers. People just came for giveaway to claim funds so this time I was thinking to make a tournament for a mouse that I bought and is without any use. Mouse is worth 60 + 1 or 2 years of warranty Im not sure about that. Lets see reaction and if I get an admin for this we can make this happen this weekend or next.

* Max armor 100 - max HP 125 - big hitbox (has to be tested)
* Speed medium
* Normal movement + wall jumps (as nyx)
* Ability: Fire bolt something as in Q2 BFG, when splash - radius very close about 10m distance. Ability should slow down your opponent fire rate and movement should be slower. That could be a good counter for smaller and fast champions as anarki and nyx.
What do you think? Do you have any other ideas for new champions?
Hey, I just bought Zowie FK2 simply cos there is an option to increase LOD and its a claw grip mouse. Im currently using G303 and G403. Due to low LOD I have brushed my mouse feet like 4-5 mm so LOD is about 5-6 dvds. As mouse feet is brushed tracking is not that great so I decided to buy FK2. Now Im having trouble with this mouse. When I move to left mouse goes UP, when I move to right mouse goes DOWN. Tested on 4 mouse pads QCK+ black, Goliathous control black, Goliathous speed with razer logo on it, Goliathous control with razer logo on it. Tried with different DPI and HZ. Nothing works. All logiteh mice works fine. There is another mouse I bought year ago and I thought mouse is shit since it was so cheap. CM xornet II. There is same problem. Mouse moves up when moving to right and so on. So do you think guys that has to do something with Logitech drivers?
Does anyone have good visual settings and good preformance settings for Quake Champions?

Im getting FPS drops especially in the beginning of the match, mid match and after few games I need to restart Quake Champs.
With mid gfx settings I get about 130 fps @ 1920x1080
With all low scale 50% Im getting up to 300 fps and in the same time drop to 50 fps - its getting unplayable.
I close all apps in background
I set QC to high priority
I am changing video resolution down to 800x600 and its the same maybe 10 - 20 fps more but still unplayable.
Is QC so fucked up atm?
Can anyone tell me best settings for QC also best visual settings so enemy model are visible better also I need settings to disable / lower effects. Are there any settings to do so outside of QC?
Due to that problem I will buy a new gfx and Im willing to spend up to 600 for it. Not sure if its worth since I can play overwatch with all mid settings and im getting 200 fps there. IS QC not, zero optimized yet? Should I wait with new gfx?

I will soon be on twitch as Im getting new connection @Monday 100/100mb. Im currently working on my logo, twitch overlay and banners. The next thing I want to do is having background transparent. I know I need chroma key screen and set the camera properties to chroma key that certain color. Either can be blue or green. Everyone is using green so Iwill do the same. Recently there is some activity. But still I am somewhat skeptical.
My thoughts are that:
It should be after end of EDL or when most of the EDL matches played.
2v2 would be in place of Edge (in case its not happening this time again).
It should be quit short (not that many teams, spring/summer coming soon)
So I need your opinion?
Will there be enough players/teams for 2v2?
Is it worth trying when players can't manage to play their EDL games?

Is it possible to increase lift-off distance on Logitech G302? Seems razer products have good lift off distance and I got use to it. Cant play like this with my new Logitech g302. However, the senosor is really good, tracking is good.
Works the best on QCK - black, but still I have trouble using it.

Im using Windows 7 - 64. Firweall is set to off. I have re-install ql... Tried to reboot.. I have turned off antivirus, after I uninstalled it.. I have tried in ipconfig with /flushdns.. Nothing worked for me.
Anyone have any idea what that could be?
I could format / reinstall windows in this matter, but I think there should be another way to fix it.

After a huge break I am coming back to Quake Live.
I have bought me a new computer for gaming and hopefully good enough for twitch, unless if I need another computer for twitch (I have no experience there)
As always I had huge problems with mice and not stable connection. However, this dismotivated me to play more + I was really busy with work. As from now on I will finally start to work from home.
Im interested inmice and what gaming monitor to buy? Monitor has to be 27 inch + 1ms - could you please suggest me one? Not too expensive. Budget for a new monitor is 280 eur to max 400 eur.
I love razer aby! Its small it have claw grip and its very light. Could you also suggest me one mouse if not aby again without jittering problem? If possible suggest me something identical or very similar to aby (shape - claw grip and wight, but better).

Please do not suggest me WMO, I have bought two mice already on ebay and both were bad replica - both felt like 3$ worth mouse. It seems I cant get real WMO so please no wmo especially not a fake one.

Did I bought a wrong WMO? This one works like a office mouse for 2$. Tried ingame a bit and when I try to move fast left or right I cant do that. Even worse, I cant track with LG or any other weapon. It doesnt move unless if I lift up a bit and move. I bought mouse cos of video seller posted there. I thought this is the same WMO, but newer version of it.
It says on a mouse: Microsoft steelseries. There are no such drivers on steelseries website nor google. This is a total fake?
Or there are any settings to fix this?

We had 5 Slovenian Duel cups so far in 2010 - 2012, all were with sponsors (prizes). The players who are playing duels now were not participating in any duel tournament. Our idea is to bring old slovenian duelers back on track.

The idea of making Slovenian duel tournament is to motivate slovenian players. What we need from you is to support us and to donate something small for the tournament (prize money). We will provide casting, streaming and everything you need. The scene is small here, its local and we dont expect much of your help but at least even small donations and support would be more than appreciated. The tournament date is not set yet, but we are planning to make it in the beginning of March.
However, every nation should have this to motivate their own players. We see a lot of people who are supporting Quake scene especially with donations for tournaments.

Im interested to buy a new gaming headphones. Never had one. I was always using headphones worth 10-20 eu. Quake have very poor quality of sound. Do I need better headphones for QL? Will I hear better ingame?
I'm deciding to buy Razer Kraken 7.1 - available in every computer store also the quality of headphones is good from what I heard. Price is 95,00 eur.
My current setup for better gaming: Mouse - Razer Abyssus mirror edition, mouse pad - razer Goliathus control. Monitor asus vg278he 27', 10 eu keyboard and 10 eu headphones.
The same question goes for keyboard. I dont press so many buttons in the same time since I have jump and fire on my mouse. Is it worth to buy keyboard too?

Are there any mice with the exact same shape as abyssus? My aby is driving me crazy. It depends on what mouse pad I play. I have QCK +, goliathous control (black), goliathous speed (new). The worst for me is goliathous speed.
At goliathous speed, there is no jitter, but I cant make straight line. If i move mouse left it goes down, if I move it to the right then it goes up. Much more annoying than jitter.
QCK +, jitters, but at least I can make a bit more straight line.
Goliathous control, works the best, but it jitters at lower DPI and I cant make straight lines anymore with higer dpi. Since 1month ago I fixed my aby with set to 3500 dpi since i have extreme high sens. Now it seems its broken again after 1month. I cant make straight lines anymore. Mid shaft is again impossible for me cos it moves up or down + jitters a bit.
I really loved Deathadder and abyssus, especially the shape of aby and how light mouse itself is. I'm really disappointed now. I want again a new mouse with the exact same shape / weight as abyssus is.

Guys what do you prefer? Razer deathadder or Razer Abyssus? I have been using death adder since 2009. After 2 years of using mouse died again. Well, at this DA 3.5g is tracking not working properly anymore. At first I thought it was a mouse pad which is failing me so much. It seems that its a mouse itself. At DA shape, tracking and everything was perfect for me. I had once abysuss, but it was broken. Mouse was jittering I moved mouse to the left and then mouse went left + down and so on. After that I gave up and bought a new death adder 3.5g in 2011. However, I'm about to buy another mouse. Im choosing between abyssus and deathadder 2013. Which one should I pick and why? Tell me guys. Stick to the topic. I dont wanna hear anything about wmo or steelseries mice. Thanks in advance!

I bought Abyssus today. The shape is not what I am use to it. The sensitivity I had to lower a lot from 13 to 7 (dunno why?) the settings were the same as @DA 3.5G (1800 dpi / 1000hz) In the beginning of testing I was also lifting a mouse that much that the point didnt even move left or right ingame. I tested a mouse in the store. I had luck by picking no-jittering model. The mouse itself feels really good, the tracking isnt that good atm, but I have a feeling that when I will get use to it that the mouse itself will fit me perfectly. I might need a week or less to get use to it.

I like the new update and smoothnes with 200+ fps. I was really upset when I couldnt run Quake. Thnx to syncerror for fast help! At 1st I thought that community will help me. But what I got from the community were only negative comments. About the update. As every new update or a new game have problems. I believe / hope that QL will have features as QLprism had. There is a lot of negative energy which dismotivates them to do anything for the communty. So please stop! I just hope you guys will be patient and wait for a new update which will be soon as they fixand test everything! Don't think they will release another update without proper test in dev team. So be patient and dont be so rude. Their job is not that easy as it seems to be. From web page to stand alone client was a huge step! This might take a while to resolve everything.

I saw the discussion about not having quake at dreamhack anymore due to no profit (low number of viewers, etc,..) In Slovenia we just got announced that there is going to happen a LAN which will also have Quake Live. There is no prize money announced for quake yet. I was thinking that we can make prize money happen with donations. Quake community could also help them by setting quake and getting some sponsors. Donations should be done to most trusted quaker (memento_mori). However, this is just a suggestion from me.
EPICENTER LAN 2 will take place on the 8th and 9th of February 2013 in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. Over the course of two days, a record breaking 11 different tournaments will take place, including but not limited to Call of Duty: Ghosts, League of Legends, StarCraft 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota2, Quake Live and Street Fighter XIV. As was the case at the previous event, videogame tournaments will not be the only things happening, as we will host numerous promotions and fun tournaments that will make sure that the attendees remember the event, and the sponsors.
The first event was well recieved by the gaming public, as we had over 85 players present, and more than 150 visitors, who rated the event with an average of 4.5/5. The rating presents a high standard, that we will try our best to beat with the second edition of the event.

Dreamhack Winter 2013 seems to have the the best lineup in ages for Quake Live tournament. I was thinking to make the top4 player predictions and see who will be correct with predictions.
My two favourite players are Johan "toxjq" Quick and Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevsky. I'm looking forward to see toxjq win a big tournament again after so many years.Cypher was my all time fav Quake Live player. I love his unique style. Especially the out of the control style and hes probably favourite to win Dreamhack Winter 2013. I would like to see cypher and toxjc in finals. However, all my 'money' this time is on tox. My predictions are 3:2 in favour of tox.

Ive been using Razer Goliathus control past two years. Each year I bought a new one. Before razer goliathus I was using steelseries qck mouse pads. Now I'm gonna order again a new mousepad, but I need to know which one you prefer guys? Control is for me <3 atm, but is speed even better?

Clan plus seems to be very active in Clan Arena. We are playing PCWS almost every night. If there are any clans or random players which would like to play with us then msg us here or via Quake Live.
We are playing at nights. We have at least 4-5 avalible during the 20:00 - 1:00 CET. We can always pick a player who is currently online to play a PCW.

Hey, I started with my company in the beginning of 2013. I had found a place with 100m2 +. I have renovated almost everything. I had to put more than 6.000EU for the place. Place was pretty old and it was needed to be renovated. I have been asking our big companies for financial help, but every company refuse to help / donate some money. The company is intended for gamers. The name is / will be ''Allstar gaming z0ne''. What I need for once is:

My dreams are to have a gaming center with main game Quake. I was thinking to organise online tournaments with sponsors (like 2gd had for quake and other games).Top 4-8 duelist should be invited here and play finals every month or in every few months. Same goes for other quake live game modes.

This is the best CA map rotation so far. For me personally ca maps: trinity, hidden and asylum for 4v4 are the best! I cant belive my eyes, but every single server is full today. Really, ID Software if you read this... Maps should be unlocked with vote enable in order to have huge quake community. New maps locked. As it was already.

Latest faceit cup was da bomb for me especially finals between cypher and ash_. As far as I remember cure and t7 were so much joy to watch. Can some one provide me demos of cypher / ash pov? It would be more than appreciated for me. Atm im learning and collection cure demos. I wanna watch ash / cypher cure demos. :)

I was thinking to learn maps better. Basically im campgrounds and house of decay player and on rest of the maps my skill is below 1500 elo. So, I decided to have almost each night "QL 1 map marathon''. My goal will be to complete at least 30games per night. I will start tomorrow at 21cet with dueling @toxicity. And the next day I will start with cure. If there are any players who would like to prac with me then plz add me so we can play.
I would like to play with much better players elo 2k +. I don't mind to be raped, but with losing I will learn a lot more than with winning.

Wh and humanized bot. In secod game he was using LG 80% of the game. Im not sure about humanized bot, but im sure about WH. Soon he will be top 10 ranked at ca QL ranks.
Post here a cfg with the best FPS possible for quakers who have old computers or a bad laptop for playing Quake Live. I think there are many quakers who would like to have such cfg. I have been asked by many ppl but I have modified toxjc's cfg.

Clan plus is searching for a member/s (Clan Arena). Our lineup atm is: xanthic, rofl, CAREEM, Rush_, ulbe and then viced (he said he is still with us, but it doesnt seems so), gohan_ aka jwzr left us I think, but I still think he is part of us. So we need at least one member. I would love to have some one of clan VS in our squad since they are inactive - not playing anywhere.
rofl is fully active and because of our inactivity he might leave us (I dont want this), xanthic active, I'm active and then we see ulbe not so often online, same goes for rush. Viced is playing in different clans mostly.

GRAND LAN ADRIA #2 will be hosted in Slovenia (13.4. and 14.4.2013) - Hotel Plaza. Event will have TUP (Turn Up and Play computers & LCD screens). Prizes per game will be worth 5000 (material prizes). Soon we will be able to vote for our favorite game (Quake Live).

Spid.si is a new eSports LAN and online tournaments organization in Slovenia. They organize online tournaments and LANs for Fifa12, Starcraft 2, COD 2, COD 4 and now they included Quake Live, but it's for Slovenian community only. Hopefully in the near future they will also make big on-line tournaments and big LANs for foreigns with nice prizes.
Sponsors and everyone who would like to help them will be more than appreciated. Hopefully with your help we will see them growing strong with a lot of Quake Live online and LAN tournaments!
Slovenian community - since our page quake.si is down we decided to make a new community group on Facebook. There are new online tournaments going on with prizes, and after online tournament we will have a Quake Live LAN with prizes. Windows 8 consumer preview was scheduled to be released today (29.2.2012), though Microsoft has till now not officially released the consumer preview, we have managed to get our hands on the download links of Windows 8 consumer preview ESD files. Currently only the 64 bit or 32 bit version of Windows 8 is available for download. You wont be able to download the ARM version of Windows 8.

Q2scene is proud to present The Edge League season 2. The tournament will be played on one map only. The map will be The Edge - q2dm1, probably the most know and most played map ever in Quake2 history. Signups are open untill Tuesday 30. November, 24.00 CET. Q2scene is proud to announce another European Duel League season. The tournament will be played in best of five over single elimination. EDL will be lead again by head admin wision. The signups will be opened until 30th of September. For more information join #edl or visit EDL.
As some of you noticed already, the sign-ups for EDL #9 are opened! Layout for this season is going to be very similar to the one from last season (elimination stage, group stage, single elimination playoffs), although it might change depending on the number of signed players. Before signing up beware that rules are not yet final. There might be some changes, but you will be notified before the sign-ups are closed which will be on 30th of September.
