Quake 3 Defrag - FPS Cup 02 Movie (1 comment)
Posted by Nosf @ 10:24 CDT, 7 June 2025 - iMsg

FPSCup 02 was a series of defrag tournaments, it was held throughout winter 2024. While writing this text, the third iteration ended recently.

FPSCup 02 have been organised by Rain and had an amazing output regarding maps. The participation was huge and the trickjumping community produced lots of astonishing runs. The cup was divided into 7 rounds and afterwards all points had been summed up. The video includes the demos of the round winners.

A huge thank you from the whole FPSCup team for participating!
Now, Enjoy!

running out of WMO's, alternative? (4 comments)
Posted by LOLatRoflexTimers @ 20:05 CDT, 3 June 2025 - iMsg
Back then I bought a number of WMO's, it was never clear to me if they were legit or chinese knockoffs, anyway, the last one seems to not be picking up some mouse2 clicks. What would you buy that has a similar feel? I've already read about the Gamesense MVP, but some people said it's not quite it. Another one mentioned has been the OP1 from someone here, claiming it's a flatter version and has the best sensor in the market. It seems too small. What about the XM2? Another option, Lanzu Maya X. In any case, im willing to hear if im missing something. I trust people here to know what the f*ck they are talking about unlike sub-quake so called "gamers" on reddit et al.

And this is an even worse representation, because people often vote who they want to.

I doubt many people would have put 5000 on spammah, regardless of the odds. No offense to him.

Perhaps, but he was asking for games where cooller played really well (not czm!), obviously you pick the wins and not the loses!

Still:
hub game at CPL > ESWC
DM6 game at ESWC > CPL
DM13 game at ESWC > CPLothermap(ztn?)

DM6 game at ESWC > CPL

no way :D
By clawo ini  - Reply to #72
The ESWC game was far more controlled play from both players at the top of their games. Cooller made one mistake and czm took control, started his comeback, then he made one mistake and it was all over.

The CPL game was reckless from both at times.
By Earth Lethe  - Reply to #73
both games had the same flow, but different outcome. in eswc cooller managed to stop the comeback with that lg @ rocketjump. in cpl he didnt. 99% the same matches.

but ok.

Disagree entirely. The only similarity was that czm made a comeback in both games and both were dm6.

i think rapha because hes proven himself at duel, but i want to see noctis win because it'd be great to see someone whose clearly a TDM focused player lately prove that the skills are transferable and applicable... unfortunately history has shown that you are pretty much only good at one game type at a time...
