strange error about some missing model...

wont work ere too.i could play other demos from the eurocup but now i get "failed to spawn item rocketlauncher" error!!
q4 demos are cursed i think.

so did the demo work for you guys with demo_enforcefs 1 or what

havent tried this one but the other demo works just fine for me...then again, I have every single beta map,final map and mappack that I known of and I also have sacrificed 10 little babies to 3 different gods.

With demo_enforcefs 0 this works fine.

Strange. Changing enforce to 0 worked for me. Either way I deleted all my configs (including baseq3) and started over from scratch just now. Had Max create the config for me, and trashed all autoexecs before hand. Who need 'em now? We have vertex lights.

I'm still trying to figure out if Rocket Launcher fireballs going through walls and floors without impact is a feature or a bug in demos (doesn't happen in gameplay).

demo_enforce 1 or 0 does'nt work for me.been through all this before,can't be arsed now.

It works for me.

I placed the demo in q4max/demos directory, and run it from q4max mod. First i had an error.. so i used "demo_enforceFS 1" and now just works fine :)

But i don't get it.. sometimes you need to use this cvar to play demo, and other times you don't have to.. cause it will crash your q4 (like Toxic vs j4rno)

Q4 demos are buggy.. hope q4maxers/id/raven will make it right once and for all ;]

Nice game, Ztrider was showing awesome lg on good ping :). And although Cooller's ~average~ ping, he was still making some crazy shit with his shaft ;)

something strange i found is that when i start game load up q4max and start the demo ...i get the failed message....but if i start up the game...and join a multiplayer server hosting q4max ..then i disconnect and then run the demo it works....wierd.

i had to laugh when the demo ended and ztrider was pinging 0 and cooller 65,meaningless games but still kinda fun to watch.

cooller chose the server. I don't think he cared too much about this particular match, considering he only needed to beat Rufus anyway, but he's being a bit arrogant here expecting to win against Rufus so easily. :o
and maybe he wanted to show ztrider up by giving him a fit with that kind of lag.

Well he beat me so it worked out for him.
Allthough i dont think he expected to win by 1 frag on his map choice.

Atleast i cant say i ping raped him ... my con was terrible.
But thats no excuse so gg to him.

hahaha nice demo, it's fun to see all that stuf about "just your ping" or "I know what I can do with you on lan" at the end of the second map hahaha, but this particular demo is very cool to watch ...gg from Ztrider :)
