Pretty much one of the sickest camed movies I've ever seen with some of the coolest editing. Combined these things make for a truly breathtaking trailer.

A must-see not just for all who like ET/RTCW, but also for those who enjoy watching well made gaming-movies :)

Given how dull the source game can be at times, this trailer surpasses anything I've seen in a gaming movie - can't wait till the tool some to Q3 :)

i'm very rarely impressed by movies these days, but every now and then corkers like this come along. amazing really. if i get anything made this year i'd be happy to lose to this trailer and the subsequent movie in any gaming movie 2005 competition.

Anyways, seen this a few weeks back and can say it truly rules. Great recamming and editing, just the music is the downside.

It is more of a demo reel / tech demo than anything though :)

In Annihilation own-age used Marilyn Manson - Seizure of Power while in this trailer smireboule used a mixed version of Marilyn Manson - Resident Evil Main Theme (the original lasts for 02:09). Both are on the same soundtrack but are hardly the same. The Badge 2.0, however, featured Marilyn Manson - Resident Evil Main Theme.

looks like the rehashed "somebody discovered filters" and fly mode...

technology aside, this little trailer does the same thing that 4k.revo tried to do. show what can be a very complicated team game (with moving objectives, odd spawn points, etc) from a natural point of view, flowing with the game, and showing how a round might progress, following team mates from objective to objective.
frag movies are too random, too fragmented, jumping around too much just to get yet another fantastic headshot in. rtcw and et have never been about the individual player skill, but about team co-ordination; cross fires, spawn raping, communication. railgun and goldrush aside, this movie shows perfectly how a team could totally own another team on oasis in just a couple of minutes.
it's far harder to show that in a movie than individual skill, so i applaud it for that reason. the fact it's also a fucking good tech movie too with near flawless editing, well that's certainly a big bonus too.

Cametrace 3D is a program that allows you to make a perfect '' scripted '' camera within a easyer way and with a lot of more effects for this cameras.
