Hey guys.
Haven't posted on ESR for ages. Some people might remember me from the pre-QC era.
Anyways, as I bought a laptop for the first time in my life, I'm getting rid of my desktop.

My monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ (22", 120Hz).
You think I still can get some € for this lovely 11-year-old? I was happy with it, but I can't estimate the value. It doesn't have HDMI strangely enough.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Almost all the current gpus don’t have dvi-d inputs. In order for someone to run 120hz with that monitor they have to spend over 100 bucks for a adapter. Try eBay

if you have a current gpu you dont buy an 11 year old monitor and the last gpu gen had 1 DVI-D port always.

Had mine for almost a decade too. Was amazing, but I switched to a 1080p acer. Next one is going to be 240hz 27in 4K. Hope it doesn't take years :)

My 2233RZ went into retirement this year :)

Loved the 16:10 ratio and gaming performance for the low price. The power consumption was a little high and I had to repair it twice because the high voltage coil died, that was a bummer.

i was very happy with it. really low latency. after a long time it got darker and darker, stopped working and i bought a benq xl2411.

How's the latency with the new xl2411?

still a TN so must be comparable but still

I had to switch to a VA and it sucks. It absolutely sucks even though my old one was 120 and the new is 144 Hz

been using xl2430t for 5 years, it's smooth at 144hz, but colours not the best, still enjoying it in CSGO though, and many singleplayers

I replaced mine with the XG2401 years ago and I want to buy something that is good for Quake while having good blacks but the technology for monitors apparently still sucks
