You can compare cooller with get_right/forest/neo as they have played through different eras and stayed contenders for top1.
Potti and HeatoN were good in the era of CS where CS was pretty low skilled. Yes, they might have been the best amongst competition, but it's like comparing paralympic athletes with healthy pros.

Every sport evolves, not only gaming. Tradional sports progress at a slower pace because they've been around for ages. Gaming progresses miles ahead skillwise every year. Every top1 would shit on last years top1 without any real competition.

Maybe Cooller would not survive if Quake was like really competitive which it never was especially compared to these times right now seen in other games. In this regard any player in Quake is not that tested. ZeRo4 was something then he was not anymore and was never again. So maybe this whole Quake player fandom is really nothing more like fantasy. These players spark fantasy but are not the real thing because Quake was never that competetive.
