I'm a little surprised, watching some streams it didn't look that bad; but one thing is to watch an entertainer for 1/2 hour, another is havign to play it for hours.

Apparently the campaign only lasts 10 hours? For an open world game that' terrible, and considering most people say it's very repetitive, i can see the low interest.

Also the protagonist and the interactrions with other characters are so dull and stereotyped, i don't know howyou can get so little spark of anything from professional writers from the biggest game dev in the world.

Bethesda underdelivering as always.

My family and I playing Rage 2

looks better than quake champions, would definitely play it someday when i get the hardware and it will be for a reasonable price that i could afford it, i liked watching the game on twitch, really nice action version of fallout 4 without all the laggy stuff, it could be better, but considering the state of the industry where every game is a dlc fest without any content, i find this game quite interesting.

I dunno, I can tell a lot by watching, the combat is definitely worse than doom 2016, the enemies are far less dynamic and far less aggressive ... and in terms of single player content, I dont really see how it compares to half-life 2 or bioshock ... games that are older than a decade ... not gonna play this, even when it is for sale for 5 dollars

yeah it depends on taste a lot, i cant stand doom 2016 for all its gross violence, so rage for me is kinda better in terms of overall atmosphere to just chill and look at the environment and art, i don't actually take gameplay that much seriously since its a console port as always. as i said i dont consider rage a masterpiece, but looking at the current gaming landscape the industry has been dead for years now with games like fallout taking 5 years to realease and still be kind of underwhelming in terms of polish of earlier games like quake1 sp campaign. the industry now is all about a quick cash in on people who have no clue what they are buying, so i really didn't have any hopes for rage2 to be much different.

not gonna play this because I don't really care for SP games for the most part, but this thread does reaffirm my business plan of making a videogame where feemoids are secondary characters and, when playable, 15% weaker for the reactionary buck

its not that bad, that is just the intro levels with the constant boring spam of tutorials

its rage, its openworld, it has a story and objectives, walk and run speeds are way to fast, its not doom, its not gonna be immersive

It's absurd, even when they're not much smaller, with thick arms, they're still so much weaker. Their muscles have no impulse.

A set of repetetive actions, and no more than 10 hours to finish the whole game.
