Daily concurrent player peak on steam:
6/21: 12,081
6/28: 7,106
...
7/28: 2,812
9/28: 2,992

That is a 41% decrease in only one week.
What a failure of a game.

You should just be happy that ID is even still trying
That's the problem with this ungrateful communityGet well soon.
The real issue is that a lot of you have the arrogance of completely ignoring how business works and struggle to grasp why a business would want to try and appeal to a wider audienceLOL, who are you talking to? ID software? Everyone knows they'd try to appeal to a wider audience. Except we're not deulded into defending them when they can't even appeal to a small one.
Those players are the new players who tried the game during the free period and decided to not continue playing it.
yes, the game is launched. No mental gymnastics about "early access" please. Anyone that has any idea of what modern consumers are like are aware that people don't really care about what state the developer thinks the game is in.Good post, but I'm not sure about this. The point is correct, but QC is kinda different here I think, for the simple reason that currently it costs money to play (quite a hefty sum too), but it will be F2P on release. The spike from the free weekend was quite surprising.
