I don't know but I think this was pretty common back in the days when people experimented with keyboard and mouse layouts. I used +forward on right mousebutton with inverted mouse and playing on numpad keys on keyboard, these combos wasn't that rare as far as I can recall. Didn't some pros have 'secret' configs in quake 1 too, they didn't want to share because they found them superior?

Tox uses LMB +forward and RMB +back

tox doesn't go forward on mouse2, but on mouse1 iirc. i think akiles was mouse2 +forward.
