If you like it, then why would you care about anyone else's thoughts. Most of the kids are hating on it because it's not MX300 shaped, but I bet they didn't even try the mouse.

BTW, this is my no1 mouse in use. If you like the shape, then it's a perfect mouse. Jus tdon't use surface tuning and you are good to go.

I think the MLT 04 is better, but I also think shape plays a huge role in how a mouse feels. If somebody likes the shape of the G303, then they have one killer mouse. I think it is good that Logitech uses such a sensor, I just wish they'd make a G100s refresh with the 3366.

The problem is that G100s's shell is cheap crap.

Can confirm, altho Logi maintains decent level of build quality, the g100s can (and will) fall short of your expectations, if you're looking for a tank like the mx518/g400 is/was... hell, they even cheaped out on the feet, which were both super thin and undersized relative to the indentation made for them...

Nah i'm using a DeathAdder Chroma, the shape of G302 just isn't for me. I like the G502 but it's too heavy.

The shape sucks, and I have trouble rocket jumping with it (keeping a solid grip on the mouse while performing the jump or clicking the buttons at the same time).

Mouse performs great and has awesome mouse clicks. It's all on the shape whether you will like it though, if you do though it's the perfect mouse.

Too bad it's not 17 g lighter.

Have you used a G303 before? I think the G302 glides even better out of the box than the G100s even though the G100s is a lot lighter.

The problem is the weight, not the glide.

Clicks are amazing. Shape is not terrible if you can get use to it. But I cannot surface tune the mouse which lowers the lift off distance considerable. Because of the shape the lift off distance can be annoying if it leans forward or backward while it is lifted.This isn't a problem if you use a tight grip.
Edit: I might as well comment on the sensor s little more. It seems to be similar to the 3310 without the negative acceleration while moving slowly. The tracking seems more solid after surface tuning so it is a shame so many of the g303 are plagued with the surface tuning bug.

What is this surface tuning bug you speak of? With me tuning feels good when first set but turning the PC on the next day it feels like its not tracking right and I get the odd tracking fail when flicking an rj - ended up sticking with the factory default now

It is a little different depending on the mousepad. For most it just looks at the sky or ground and might do some sort of spinning.

Yeah that's what happened to me about 3 times but very rarely, you couldn't recreate it doing the same action right away. It was going off at an angle when swiping high speed. Figured it might have hit a smudge on my qck (about time for a new one). But has been fine since going to the default surface and lift off feels about the same

Just an update. Mine was broken. There was something rattling around inside the mouse. I used my warranty and sent it in. The one I got back is much better and has no rattle.

Just got the mouse today, clicks feel nice. Would've liked the side buttons to be a bit far more forward and for the shape to be a bit more smooth (the bumps on the sides are a bit too exaggerated). But I'll use it =)

Bought g303 and will never go back to anything else; perfect mouse to my taste. Only issue for me was that i had tiny bug with sensor's lens wobbling creating noise when i moved mouse fast, and i was too lazy to go back to shop and return it, i disassembled it and used abit of tape to secure the lens on its place real tight - hated to unscrew those tiny screws, seriously thats the only thing that sucks about this mouse - you might fuck up those tiny screws after couple failed unscrewing attempts. Now after this tiny fix it feels like it was supposed to, no problems whatsoever after week of usage by now.
* 10/10 shape for me (i used to fingertip all my previous mice like wmo, g3 and others, when i modded the g400s and lowered its weight down to 80g i finger gripped it aswell)
* best m1 m2 clicks ive ever touched, fast, next to nonexistant travel distance yet not really prone to misclicking; case of the mouse and m1 m2 buttons in particular are made so smooth and comfortable, it feels almost like part of my hand
* wasnt really important for me but braided cable, which i myself dont really consider an advantage, i actually dont like them personally but this one is not stiff at all so its real good (note tho, i use mouse bungee so it might be different for those who dont)
* sensor is amazing, i mostly use it @ 400dpi and had 0 trouble tracking whatsoever on both plastic pad (both sides of fUnc 1030) and on different cloth pads ive tested it on (razer goliathus control / some simple chinese 60cm cloth pad)

Overall this is probably my last mouse for awhile and if it will break ill probably either try really hard to fix it or buy same mouse again, it is that good.

I can see where haters opinion about shape come from tho, i use fingertip grip and this shape /. size / weight fit me like no mouse did before, but for ppl who palm grip or even claw grip their mice - i think to many of them this shape wont be as comfortable, especially for those with hands bigger then 18cm.
If ur hand is 18cm and u are fine with using fingertip grip, this mouse is absolutely best choice for you then, if you prefer palm grip or have hands bigger then ~18-18.5cm i would suggest to test this mouse in local shop first because its really small and has weird shape which fits only finger grippers in my opinion.

How does it match up to the wmo?

I've just killed my IMO 1.1a, with which the most irritating problem was the piramid /__\ shape of the sides. I've also just found out that the wmo apparently fixes this issue, by having nearly 90 degree sides, but a new g303 is already on it's way to my doorstep.

So should I buy the wmo as well and see which is better, or is there no point, since the g303 is going to destroy it anyway? (I know this is going to come down to personal pref., but I'd like to get as much input as I can before wasting money on possibly fake wmos on ebay...)

g303 > wmo in terms of mouse1/mouse2 clicks, sensor is superior on paper but honestly playing for quite some time with both now i cant really tell that g303 is way ahead of wmo simply cuz wmo sensor felt amazing, wmo > g303 in shape (wmo is probably most comfy shape ever made, g303 is claw / finger only and requires quite some time to get used to even if ur claw/finger grip user), g303 < wmo in terms of cord aswell. All in all i think wmo is still a great mouse, its only downside are bad mouse1 / mouse2 clicks.

Btw... the g303 won't arrive to me, so that means there are still 3 mice I want to try out before settling with one of them: g303, fk1, wmo.

I have a g402 right now, which I would be more than happy to trade for either of these three. I can't cope with the shape... I'm an fps player and I need an ambi mouse for that.

Sorry for waay too late of a reply, fk1 (same as fk2, its just their sizes that are different, shape overall feels the same) feels simillar to the grip but its completely different once you try to move the mouse and press buttons. Believe me you wont settle with g303 as your ideal mice if you have a choice (i switched back to g400 myself once my g303's mouse2 button broke recently, even after like what..half a year or a year that ive been using it till recently its shape still doesnt suit me well).
Overall out of 3 mice you listed (g303, fk1, wmo), i would always recommend wmo since its much cheaper then other two, has decent sensor which wont fail you nor will it give a feeling of being cheap in any way and the shape is ideal really. But i wouldnt recommend wmo if you play mobas like dota or strategy games, where you need to make alot of separate mouse clicks / second, wmo clicks are really not comfortable to press alot, in shooters where you just hold mouse buttons most of the time its completely fine tho.
Fk1 has terrible clicks, i would say worse then even wmo's.

If only there would be a mouse with a shape of wmo, sensor and buttons from g303 and a high quality thin rubber cable (thin like say g400 original cord).

I just bought G303, love it so far. It's very light (~80g ish), fits my hand perfectly. I have a pretty large hand. My brother, who uses a claw grip, doesn't like its shape though, due to its "diamond" style shape. I just love logitech products, mostly because I can script with them (LUA supported). So useful for graphic design, and playing games.

Only problem about the mouse for me though is that it wiggles from side to side a bit. It doesn't affect the mouse movemnt though, but I'm a really sensitive guy, it can get quite annoying.

Had it since it's come out, really nice mouse as a replacement to the g100s.

It's probably me and my big hands but it feels when I had a bit of extra grip to the mouse it feels like it's about to pop into two parts like a Kinder Egg toy. Other than that, no complaints, no skipping on any mouse surfaces I've tested.

Currently using it on a Razer Sphex and it's beautiful.

g303 is a great mouse, flawless sensor, tracking and no input lags on click but the sensor plate mounting is fucked up so after few days it loosens and starts to rattle. Rattling itself is not forgivable but the cursor starts trembling when u stop the movement suddenly which is annoying as hell

btw whats the best dpi setting for this sensor? im just using it at 1000dpi atm because thats what my g100s is set to

Can you provide sources about that? I have read a post from a former engineer from Mionix. He said basicaly all high DPI mice nowadays have a 1600 DPI native matrix and anything else is software/chipset multiplicative.

Thx. This contradicts what i knew about mouse technology. From what i know computer mouse have a base matrix (pixels if u want) and from there, there is some calc done to alter the results if you want to change the DPI.

G303 is one of the best chooice.

Many are complaining about the shape - its perfect for me.

It also have the best sensor ever.

Tracking is pure gold.

LOD is low, so I had to remove feet and brush it a bit - now mouse works perfect for me.

Overall 10/10.

Im just of few players who prefer high LOD so I had to modify it a bit.

Have one of these. Was great until the left mouse button started malfunctioning ie my single clicks turned into double clicks or sometimes a single click would turn into a triple click.
