quakecon 2015 tl;dr:

computers had windows 10 so tox's wmo was rip and therefore didnt perform to everyone's expectations in duel. meltdown won tdm, ctf and the overall triathlon. rapha won duel even though dahang was better across all modes throughout the entire tournament. boring quakecon really, rewatch the vods if you want to hear random clicking and pizza adverts for 45 minutes

Watch spider crossings Ghost Squad vs Meltdown, you won't be disappointed.

Other highlights? All I watched was the duel final. I have too much shit to do, can't be bothered to watch hours of QL.

To me the only worth-watching matches of the tournament were the last map of the TDM final (dm14), first of GHS vs. Meltdown in CTF (CP9) and the entirety of both duel finals (first for the triathlon then another on-stage)

It's too bad that they didn't stream a ton of great duels (i.e. cooller-rapha cooller-tox) and the rest of the coverage was either MD dominating everyone, or interviewing that team for the 99th time or stream breaks. Meh.

I thought the Zorak - Rapha series was a pretty cool one to watch, 102 vs MD is always fun to watch as well. Also, I didn't watch it but I heard about it - AVG vs iG jap castles went to a long overtime game.

20 minutes overtime and afair it was spider crossings, but I'm not sure neither.

zoot said it himself on his stream when he got back, he was playing some weird roleplaying game and then switched to play race in ql afterwards. not sure if anyone else remembers that, but yeah.

I wasn't really bashing him, since he basically admitted he did it himself (and even got into an argument with one of the production guys after the game). I wouldn't call myself a "zoot fanboy" either, but even though he probably has no idea who I am I have great respect for his work and contributions towards quake.

Yeah, so apparently he said that, but he also said that he had no idea what was actually happening with the stream. He heard about the clicks when somebody from production accused him about it.

The clicks started around 01:30 when zoot was reacting and talking about what was happening in the game. So how was he browsing facebook and casting the game at the same time?

He may have said that he caused the clicks, but this vod seems to indicate that this was not actually the case.

Tox said before going to quakecon that he would have tried other mice after the event was finished.

Hopefully this gave him and Rapha the final input to leave wmo in the past. There's better hardware around nowadays

Dizzle stopping weed would have been smart 1 month or so before putting your seed, now you will just feel a loser if you stop it and it will have 0 impact on the kid. Your seed was a little stoned but it probably will have 0 impact.

Weed isnt bad for health if its good quality and you dont burn your mouth/tongue.
