I used it in the past, not really a command I was familiar with, nor a tool I use often. demo play is enough. Perhaps you are accustomed to it, but hey why not just chill off the agro.

This is not obvious cheater )))) Quakelive is full players like this one.
If they ban him then they must ban bunch of people and many pro subs among them. And they don't want to lose money.
This is the reason why such players did not get banned for years.

I have lot of demos with such cheaters including people from this forum too. There are even cheat demos where people hit 27 mg and 27 lg using soft.
They all keep playing and will not be banned ever.

This is just reality, so relax. Don't play this guy, that's all.

Put some money into Reflex, they promise some serious working anti cheat stuff (as game feature!).

why are you so obsessed with cheaters? Maybe enjoy the game and simply do not play with ppl you consider cheaters?

I played FFA with my 85 ping.
Too annoying to be second where must be first.
When someone tries and win me in ffa (like dem0n), it feels really OK, feels real player whom you can fight and frag. But when some monkey with aimbot is above most of times with 2 deaths (when you have ~40) its really not fun. Just ruined game.

I guess you never played FFA good enough (check my ffa elo), so its hard to see for you.

I am not interested in FFA. But how do you know the guy is cheater if youd did not spectate him? Sure 50-2 is nice score, but maybe he is planning his routes good and fights good as well? I do not see that such as score is not achievable at all.

a clean player wouldn't be looking at the ground as much as he is imo and well he tends to pre-aim with the Rail especially, I mean he aims at the enemy like 0.2 seconds before you can actually see the enemy on the screen.

clean, is a funny term, all I know that under that bridge, is a nightmare to really work out where you r player is. If you are still you can hear, but he wasn't even close enough, and was making loads of sounds too., Found him exactly without seeing him. Only ever made fast movements to the areas, when he was sure the NME was or wasn't there.

It is obvious, and the sooner that ID release wall hacks mod the better :) I say this as:

BF4 benefits from this when you do a "spotting technique" Also its similar to pointing to items in Quake, surely that might work? So the person is highlighted for a few seconds after spotted / physically pressing a key to spot?

Yeah he uses WH and Timing Hack (< dunno on how to say that properly). But you have to improve your gameplay, he is a really bad player even using cheats.

Looks suspect to me, way too much pre-defined aiming going on which would only come if you were really good and he looked really average, he got caught out once or twice position wise, but that could just be a bluff to throw people off.

Only way to really tell is to get people to film themselves playing and upload the file straight after the game, a cheat will almost always refuse to do this, if he's beating opponents he knows he can only beat with cheats. this is the only realistic thing you can do to corner a cheat over the internet, some cheats don;'t care about making a name for themselves though, so unless they have something to lose, you won't change it.

if I had my way all gamers would be properly registered on line to stop this. The internet is too one sided.

if you're so good at a game people accuse you of cheating, believe me, its very satisfying to prove people you are not.

remember that other guy. who was "o I don't cheat" thread, and when asked to do that exact thing you mention, he stfu.

If you film a video of your keyboard and screen and then upload it straight after the game there is no time to cheat the video.

That's the beauty of it.

The real beauty is, any cheater will know this, if they play genuine to cheat the video upload, the chances are their game will suffer big time.
Public will draw own conclusion.

If they upload the video they will get found out.

If they refuse to upload the video, they'll be even more suspect.

Any decent gamer would realise for the sake or riddling out the cheats, they owe the gaming community to overlook principles if it will help others expose cheats.

Anyone with a connection good enough to play quakelive at a good enough level which invokes accusations of cheating is capable of uploading a ten minute video within 60 mins of the game ending.

A 10 minute video at 360p @ 30 FPS would come in around 50mb (i'll even write the encoding guide all using free software if someone wants to play ignorant) and have a sufficient frame rate and image quality to catch them out.

The only person who claims they can't upload 50 MB of data within an hour and be good enough to be accused of cheating by decent players is the cheater himself.

I guarantee it :)

In which case, you can pretty much guarantee he's cheating and not worry about it, not playing him etc.

The DDK examples is a bad one because his streaming requirements are going to use way more bandwidth than 50MB per hour.

360p ok, but then the "cheater" needs to have a good camera with good enough focus mode, I'm not sure the quality would be sharp enough, UNLESS it's not on youtube because the video is processed again, then yeah.

A basic web cam from 96 or a basic camera from a phone from 10 years ago would suffice.
Youtube should be fine, you only really need to worry about degradation if you encode the video higher than what youtube rapes it.

But there are plenty of free FTP sites to host it which would be best.

There are many things that really give it away but 3:03 is my favorite... where he inexplicably pauses with no sound cues at the pillars waiting for the guy to come up the jump pad and then tracks and rails the guy perfectly as the guy exits.

Yes, 100% walls. Definitely not aimbotting or autofire. No idea on timing hacks but I don't think so.

If he was smarter, he would be looking down to rail him and find where he is. The enemy didn't have a railgun so couldn't fire back.

Stopped watching after the smooth aim freaked out at the 4:00 min mark. Too many places where the walling was obvious.
