Awesome. I'm a big fan of the swedish language. Got a kick out of this guy being silly with it.

hahahah yeah me too, I'm learning german and later i will learn dutch, so i think i will kinda have good experience in high german and low german, and then i want to learn at least swedish, norwegian or danish. if i have the same will for languages i then learn celtic, i dunno but I'm fascinating about celtic stuff.

Spanish is quite a good one, if you want to learn multiple languages, as many languages have similar structure.

i know portuguese(of course i am brazilian), spanish and english fluently. i know basic swedish and thats it.

Romanian should be a breeze for you then as many languages come from that the old Roman and Spanish stuff. Lots of Romanians pick up Spanish really easy, and Italian ofc.

Italian is pretty easy, but there are some facts I have to mention to you that you might know:

Of course in the Iberian continent the most spoken languages are derived from Old Roman and Latin sometimes. But the fact is that the accent there was mixed from: Visigoths, Galician and Iberian-Celtics.
If you make a little research on the internet you will find that: Portuguese, Gallego(galician), Asturianu and some Catalan are more similar than Castellano in many ways. The fact is that the Moors* invaded the south part of the Iberian continent in the late 1000ad, and they got spelled in the late 13 hundreds +-. So south of Portugal, Sevilla and till the "mid" Iberian continent have influenced from Morons's accent and some words too.

So as in France most people were Gaulish so then for Portuguese people and in some north parts of Spain is easier for speakers in there to learn French. If you try to learn portuguese coming from some accent from Spain, you would think a mix of Iberian language to French. For example: Rue(In Catalan and French) and Rua(in Portuguese and probably in Gallego).

The word: person, in portuguese: pessoa, in galician: persoa, in castellano(spanish): persona, in italian: persona.

The logic for a Portuguese speaker is like of: Adding consonants or letters, to the word to form the word in Castellano or Italian. And this works for a French speaker too! Same logic!

And yes, Romanian is pretty easy to learn but it looks like that it has some influences from Slavic culture/words/language in it. I know it because I'm used to do research about languages overtime.

You know what the point is?

In order to date something you need carbon, so then you carbon-date. But you can't date a monument because it hasn't enough carbon and nor the carbon will give you the date of the monument it will give you the date of the ROCK. So, when a monument goes under the water then, you can date the coral because coral grows. This is all logical, then the date that these structures went under the water was about 10 to 12 thousand years ago, the last period of the meltdown of the Ice-Age. So it is "older" than the Sumerians and the Egyptians, the so called "first civilizations".

The problem with current archaeology and anthropology is that in order to put a date to a monument is to get the remains of a firecamp. closed to the monument or a burial or whatsoever to extrapolate that and give the date to the build by these remains that is all logical clueless.

And if they toss up to the world that the current history is not quite of what they have told, it would have to re-write all history books, so.. they manipulate the information and 90% of the world is blind by the true facts that should be spread all over the world.

No, in reality we can only date the carbon, so it went down under the waters in about 10 to 12 thousand years ago, just at the end of the last Ice Age.

Which means that the other buildings around the world such as huge pyramids could be much and much more older that what we think it is.

in between i don't know, but rock doesn't have much carbon, and even if you take it from the rock it will only tell you when the rock was made, not the building :/

I get that point, that why I am saying, (other than the coral stuff), perhaps they are looking in the wrong place.

have you seen the pyramids in egypt? or the megalithic structures in peru? no peace of sheet can get through the rocks, imagine something that has life, no possible these constructions are so damn perfect without the need of something to make them to get together. this is another fact that the archaeologists come with arguments without proper assumptions. if you ask a geologist about this, he will come up with some different answer that might surprise you.

Yeah I did sort of read some of that somewhere b4, but this was a goood refresher :) English people are just screwed getting into new languages as easily as you European based countries. Although on the plus side, our language structure, is pretty well organised. Shame that our schools took out Latin as a compulsory language, as this is very useful.

Btw, from all Latin languages that I came across, the most closed to English was Portuguese, even the "past-continuous" rule is the same as in Portuguese, I don't know where it came from, if it came from old german, from Latin or from some sort of mix of Gaulish and Celtic. But it is amazing because some of the way I need to think and talk about past-sentence it works like the same. I tell you that if you learn French you can reach Portuguese so quick!

Man this chart isn't correct :0 some things are pretty correct and others don't, cuz this seems to be based on "culture", but there were hunter-gathers from others parts of the world but they don't have "history" or mostly do not cuz they didn't have writing, or something similar to date their history. But the art artefacts and some other stuff they had so it can be dated too. This is very complex :)

It's pretty correct, but who knows exactly, until you do everything yourself. That's the complexity of life for you :)

It can give a good guide to the length of time that influenced each area. The longer the stay obviously the more influence (especially in "early times" with language). it is because of the first knowing "written stuff" about the language, that is the point: germanic people didn't have any writing, so it is a struggle to linguistics to talk about the germanic first stuff

I don't think that preservation techniques for any other type of writing was really invented until mummification trials. So I can imagine if anything was written on anything other than the walls, it may have been just lost, however more advanced it may have been, in comparison to the dots and dashes "recorded" on the walls.

I have checked early german accent from a long time ago, i dont remember it all unfortunately, too much linguistics into my brain. thats why i want to have a specific course in germanic culture/language. and i don't even have go to to germanic countries, in the University of Toronto there is a very complete course 2 years long with everything about germanic culture, so if i do this course get the graduation, then after that i could spend like 2 3 months in some germanic country and enjoy the culture itself :0
