I have been using WMO on smooth desk for 3 years but it just sucks for mid to low sensitivity. I bought MX500 but shiny surface of my desk is too reflective and it jitters, so I must buy mousepad. I am looking for one that is smooth (preferably cloth) , and most importantly that is durable and CONSTANT, and that doesn't come from hard to find manufacturers like qpad/puretrak/everglide because they're not available where I live. Which one would you reccomend?

columns: speed, control (subjective oppinion), smothness, feedback (better feeling of mouse cursor, its position on mousepad?), grip (how easy is to stop the mouse)

upper - cloth
below - alu and plastic

fastest marked on red. mid - blue, slow - green

but these market on red wasn't recommend by some people here.

durable? I think not.

My Zowie G-TF Speed has maintained consistent glide for me in the time I've used it, and it's among the best when it comes to glide. The G-TF SpawN did so as well, but I ruined the pad by washing it with hot water, which caused bumps to form. If you want a quality pad that lasts longer than 3 months I think Zowie is the way to go.

Good size, nice surface, looks awesome, cheap and indestructible (mine is 9 years old).

I have a Goliathus Control for over 2 years and it still feels the same, even after having washed it several times. (You actually need to wash it from time to time to keep the feel).

Edit: I use IME3.0 with stock feet.

If not, how? I use wipes personally. Antibacterial wipes precisely.

I use a nail brush, warm water and some soap. (It's a cloth pad.)

I always feared using a brush. I guess a nail brush is more delicate and preserves the surface of the pad?

Warm water is a good idea, it will dry faster too this way.

I find drinking a cup of tea after you've washed it an enjoyable moment, what about you?

The Goliathus Control is pretty sturdy, and takes an energetic scub easily. So far, I haven't ruined it yet.

After washing it, I have to roll a joint to control the anxiety of not being able to play for a few hours. ;)

I narrowed down choice to 2 pads available to me: Mantis Speed and Goliathus Control. Which one is better in terms of static friction and speed? I intend using WMO on them because mx mouse has feet missing.
