When a male spotted hyena copulates, his penis enters and exits the female's reproductive tract through her pseudo-penis instead of directly through the vagina, which is blocked by the false scrotum and testes. Once the female retracts her clitoris, the male enters the female by sliding beneath her, an operation facilitated by the penis' upward angle. The pseudo-penis closely resembles the male hyena's penis, but can be distinguished from the males' genitalia by its greater thickness and more rounded glans. In male spotted hyenas, as well as females, the base of the glans is covered with penile spines.

The same way all foods are digested. Digestion actually starts in the mouth from chewing and secreting digestive juices that begin to loosen the foods contents before you swallow it. The “mushy” result is swallowed and ends up in the stomach, which is a very acidic environment that helps further loosen the foods ingredients with aid of specific enzymes. Meat/beef requires more acid and leads the body to release specific enzymes (e.g. pepsin) to break it down further to what your body can use such as the amino acids, vitamins and minerals. From the stomach, meat components begin the longer journey into your intestines where another enzyme, trypsin, completes the breakdown of the proteins from meat into amino acids that are now available for absorption into the blood stream and transported to where they are needed. The leaner the beef the faster this process takes place and vice-versa. Fat slows the digestion of all foods but like all foods, beef components enter the blood stream in a few hours and the remainder passes in your subsequent bowel movement with the rest of food stuff your body did not absorb. Don’t buy into the stories about humans taking days to digest beef – WRONG! Humans evolved with a marvelous digestive system that’s built to digest plants, grains and meats. The availability of foods as humans multiplied and migrated led to this wonderful trait.

More of an Arch Enemy guy, myself. Something about ATG puts me off. I do dig "With Fear I Kiss..." tho, their only album I can listen through in full and feel jacked the fuck up.

I love Wages of Sin but anything after that I find almost irritating.

I hate most of their new stuff (well, "new" in the sense it was made after Liiva left). "Wages of Sin" is still pretty great and I do like "Anthems..." but from then on it's a line going from meh to bleh. The first three albums is what makes the band for me, though. I kinda took a sidestep to different genres but still find myself coming back to them very often.

It'll be hard to live up to the expectations, but will check it out for sure once it is out.
If they make a tour because of it then it's already a win situation.

You can only get excited when such a class act announces they're working on something new. All hail Swedish metal!
