any way to have multiple streams? can any 3rd party stream matches by any chance? there probably should be a non-casting (or casting) stream for extra games.

Really hope so. So far it seems not. If there is only one stream, that will undoubtedly be a big disappointment. Of course they are going to select 'the best content to stream', but that is not sufficient when you have 4 'best contents to stream' going on at the same time, lol

do you remember how czm/rapha casted from IEM 5? if there could be something like that setup for players to hop off and hop on for a bit and cast, that'd be cool.

I can't watch multiple streams at once so I'm ok with there being only one... if we get demos too!

I dont think anybody plans to watch multiple streams simultaneously, but the option should be there to choose WHICH single stream to watch if a few games are going on at the same time

Surely it can't be that difficult to have a couple of non-casted streams? I am sure that the people watching from SA and Aus would want to follow their players no matter who they are playing.

I was thinking the same, I'd be happy with a main 'casted stream' and some straight up gameplay streams.

If this isn't possible then some kind of system to promptly upload all the demos to an ftp site or something would be a good alternative...

Maybe hyperlinked from a brackets page, but that would probably require too much effort and would delay availability of the demos... we can dream though.

16 streams = Even if everyone is playing, you can follow it all

8 streams = You could in theory get most of the action

4 streams = OK, That's 3 streams without commentary + the main one so you can follow every well-matched game

But group A & B wont be played at the same time as C & D so there is max 8-games going on at the same time.

Are we going to have demos uploaded straight after groups are played out as well?

I've been having a look at Fraze and Camma's results since they have been in Europe. I was interested in how their games would affect their ELO coming from smaller communities (Such as SA). Fraze hasn't played that many games yet, but Camma has been played a lot of known names, and interestingly enough his ELO has remained the same, which might be a testament to the accuracy of the ELO measurements even in isolated communities.

On that point, Camma is looking stronger than I expected. Looking forward to seeing some practise games from P4 and Detrony tomorrow!
