My good old mate ~8 years old mx518 have been having problems tracking quick movements and i need a new mouse.

But as i went to store and look for a mouse they were all like; "ZOMG A PRO-GAMER MOUSE FOR YOUR PROGAMING SUPERMEGAAWESZZSZOME TRACKING FOR YOUR PRO-GAMING FRAGS"

Really? Some bullshit. Whats a good option for a new mouse?

I was thinking about g100 or something similiar ?

Well the g400 with the new firmware seems to be the replacement for the MX518. I have heard good things about it, but i never tried one.

Atm I have a Zowie AM (since January?), and I can say that it is the best mouse i have ever had.

Well, MX518 and G100S (you want G100S, not G100) aren't similar at all. So you need to decide what do you want: replacement for MX518 (G400, G400S) or small light mouse (G100S and similar mice).

I know the g100 is supposed to have some issues, but at 500 dpi its the best mouse I have ever used. Weren't the issues for more than 1000dpi or something?(I can't remember)

Yeah, at 500 DPI it's fine. It's just easier/simpler to recomend G100S than to explain later why he shouldn't use more than 500 DPI. :)

It jitters at high DPI values. Basically, it's a 500DPI/500 Hz mouse. At 1000 DPI it jitters pretty badly, and above that is useless.

I'd say G400 (non-S) if you want the exact same shape. If you want something similar you could go for a Razer Deathadder 2013, Zowie EC1 eVo/EC2 eVo.

G100s is a smaller mouse, mainly for clawing/fingergrip style playing. If you'd like to try this shape you could also try the Zowie AM-FK, Razer Abyssus, Steelseries Kana/Kinzuv2 (Mind, kanav2 coming soon, gon' be good). Or you could wait for bst's mouse to come out (don't).

Bought the G100S

Im happy with this one.

ADD: Changed my mind. Hurts my hand :D Gonna switch over G400s :)

Yeah. Exactly. after about 1,5 hours my hand started to cramp like hell. I had about 10 years ago MX300 also, which was "quite" ok for my hand. Never had any problems with it.
