For 11 years I've played with 25 sensitivity, and XP sensitivity at 8/11. The mouse I use is years older than XP itself. **

I never got rid of mouse accel, I didn't even know about it until 5-6 years into serious gaming. Now I'm quite comfortable with it.

My problem is that I recently lowered my sensitivity from 25 to 10 in CS:S to play surf maps, and raised my accel from 1.05 to 1.1 so my quick flicks/strafing felt the same instinctually.

Now that I'm craving to go back and play some Quake/TFC, I'd like to match my new sensitivity in XP itself. I've read through the MarkC guides and checked a few other threads/options out, but I don't really have DPI(?)

Is there an easy way to just mimic the curve knowing my before and after sensitivities?

That's right, it has a ball.
I've played on several high-end 'gaming' mice and they all feel cheap. Like Fast-n-Furious vs a Steamroller. This guy still has another solid 20 years in it!

Thanks for any help!
