I came across this registry edit that forces lightboost to be on if you have an nvidia card so your monitor's backlight flickers at 120hz so you only see the screen when the pixels are in their most updated state. According to the people who have tried it it lowers motion blur and makes LCDs a lot like CRTs.

I don't have a 120hz lcd to test this on. A friend has an nvidia card in the mail to try it on his xl2420t. Has anyone tried it?
