Yeah, but Noam Chomsky said that the US debt isn't in that bad of shape. We have a 15 trillion dollar GDP and are 17 trillion in debt. Italy for instance has a debt that is 3x higher then there GDP, meaning US is in better shape despite all the media fear mongering.

As long as you can borrow money with negative interest, debt isn't an issue (it's only an issue for republicans when a democrat is in office and vice versa)

That doesn't mean you can keep up a worldwide empire while shitting on your economy's driving factor which is the middle and lower class.

why not? instead of paying massive amounts of money for their own air base and aircraft why not let some1 do it for you? they'll protect you as their own and you dont have to spend a penny. most countries in question dont have the money for their own air force.

this is ok when we are talking about countries with few to none political/military [ed] [immediate] threats

Keep identifying the political game of the government with what the public really thinks about the military entanglements and our great partnership with USA. That will do nice for the formation of theories that you can eventually pull out of your arse.

O man you just opened up so many questions for me lol, I should have paid more attention in social class long time ago.

Russia and china are interesting, one being communist one use to be. China is pro military, so their feelings about US being in other countries is probably neutral? It's interesting, how offended are other head strong countries about US presence around the world. Is this clash between old powers and new powers ultimately what keeps things in balance? And russia where are they going? what do they want to do, do they ultimately want to be a copycat of what US is?

In respects to original post, I suppose corporate elites will just become more multicultural ;) (what do I know though). And US over extending itself will just get them no where, well at least in terms americanism.

Obviously this is just my opinions and thoughts;
But I think this conversion really boils down to one or two question's. Will there be a global currency? and will america be the vehicle to let corporations try? My imagination really doesn't believe global control in any respect will work. I think what keeps things living is a combination of things not a universal thing ;)

actually I think many countries are happy to have them, all the people working in these bases rent houses, buy stuff in stores and these bases also offer employment for local people ...
I myself think these bases are a complete waste of money from the u.s. ... what they could build in their country with all this money they spoil there ...
