As someone who's been following most of the slendy related projects for over 2 years now and bored to death by them since spring 11, I fail to see how that game can be interesting in any way unless you're into beating a dead horse with another dead horse.

Nah, it's not my kind of game, I've read a lot of stuff about it months ago because I was interested but the ropes they pull are the obvious ones. Unless the paper looks and sounds and feels as awesome as the candy is good ( Amnesia ) it's not worth my time and I passed on Amnesia because I had watched a longplay anyway.

Yeah, well. I stumbled upon the whole Slender Man thing yesterday and I'm pretty creeped out.

The whole process of this myth as well as the ARG is pretty entertaining imo and I thought I'd share it here 'cause I never read about it on here before.

By the way, I find it rather fascinating that this whole made up myth creeps the shit out of me.
I was sitting there biting my nails thinking about THIS FUCKING GUY. Astonishing in which ways your fear/mind works at times.

Good old fear of the unknown + physical integrity mindfuck + lovecraftianish reaction to what seemingly cannot be understood.
It's not exactly made up because it relies a lot of stuff you get to experience as a kid and stuff but I just heard a weird noise in my kitchen and I hate you I hate you I hate you.
