Soooo I've made a slight cock up. I bought my plane ticket last week but decided to wait until pay day today to buy my InterRail pass. Unfortunately they can't deliver it before my plane leaves :X Fuckity fuck.
Original plan had been to fly to Split, visit a local festival, travel up through to Germany across into Belgium & Holland then get the ferry back across to the UK.
I doubt I can afford that without the fooking pass!
So does anyone know of any alternatives to cheaply travel Europe? And if not what's good in Croatia? Flying into Split & the festival is at Sibenik. I fly out Monday. They can deliver it to Germany by next Wednesday so that might be an option any idea on train prices to get up there locally? Any southern based yerman willing to offer an address?:x

get to a larger train station in .de and ask for help in one of the deutsche bahn ticket/info points, if you are persistent and not afraid of slow trains and stuff like that, it's doable.
another idea is asking others to share a group ticket. for example, there is one "one day through germany ticket" that gets a lot cheaper when you get even one other person to come along.
