It kinda mirrored my situation, and western shows never portray intelligence vs stupidity honestly so I thought i'd give it a shot. The idea of needing a gf for it stems from my married brother who only ever watches TV because of his wife liking some show, particularly a soap, that they think nice to watch together. I'm just bored and tired of romantic films and series. Only remotely romantic thing I saw lately was Arakawa Under the Bridge, which was kinda cool, since it was a bit insane too. :)
