well, usually I don't even get the player to load up ( or like a 20 minutes for 10seconds ratio ) and when I do, even if I turn hd off I get like 5 frames/second.

Well, TA is actually one of the best teams on osp5 at the moment, and issue represents them, so I guess the quali is ok.

i think a top tdm player isn't really necessary. it's more a guide, so you have to understand the tactical aspects and even more important you must be able to explain urself to the outside world.

and just in case learn to play quake...

Now this may explain why I'm too often weaponless in TDM pickups. I dunno when weapons usually spawn or even how long it takes for them to spawn (I have never been arsed to look it up. 10 secs right?)

Of course it wasn't a perfect game but some good skill and insight shown for any low and maybe mid skill players coming into tdm will help them out a lot. [+] for ischju :)

I've had better games for sure but I needed a game where I did a lot of different things in my position to show what you can do. Also I did not want to pick a rape game because that would have been really boring. I missed a lot of SG that day, really and my shaft is usually higher as well. I blame the pavel with ping 100 and his friends >D

But anyway, I am glad that some people like it.

I think, that we need more of this stuff, no matter, who is doing it - it helps.

This is more about issue's individual role and choices in specific situations then a strategic overview or discussion on team tactics.

Although Quake Live has changed the balance, I think prozac's descriptions of how best to play the map would still apply.

However the theory never really plays out like described and his setup against some modern teams would be too spread out to defend the quad area. People tend to rush around a lot in recent times and pre-defined very fixed roles are hard to follow. Then again the shotgun and machine gun changes should suit a slower more tactical gameplay.

What disrepute said, really. It still applies.. However, you see me having a pretty fixed role as someone said "we only saw 25% of the map i.e. I was hardly ever at rail or red armor" as it is not my job. You do not need 4 people at red. :)

yeah because I alone can win vs 4k. point as you want, you cannot play like you want vs 4k if the lineup includes linkje, verb and krysa. Considering our lineup (individually) we are weaker but still it had a decent outcome. (I still did mostly "my" thing like explained in the map. Was enough to keep a positive net :P) gg though 4k.

in ur video u talked mostly about playing alone (i think, stopped watching about 5 min in), and if u dont keep positive net while doing that, you have failed really bad tbh

This was very refreshing to watch. Slick editing and clear insight into what may appear at first glance, simply running around the map sometimes shooting at enemies.
I think a vid like this sets the bench for upcoming qltdm tutorials. Makes the casual ql player wanna join more tdm matches (I hope!).

Good from keeping 1x position, but a bit to much individual focus to promote TDM. If a new player would follow this then they would be good pickup players, but not perhaps so much into the team aspect of it. Even if this was suppose to probably be from 1x point of view, I still would have liked to hear a bit how you sync/attacks don't attack as a team, who is holding what and why etc. Still, nice efforts from all of you :)

Yeah I found this video to be "what you as an individual do in the game" rather than "what you four as a team do before and during the game", and although it's great I would like to see a video or maybe article covering some of that other stuff.
