if it supports built-in synced shoucast option then yes, else i dont give a shit about gtv. chat is epicly stupid. stream is much more comfortable ... but then there are low bandwidth people where stream fails big time.

Yeah I don't think it will be that hard for them to implement built in shoutcasting. And if I had a connection that could run streams fine I probably also wouldnt care as much if GTV was added or not. But you have to admit the chat spam fest that happens at the moment someone gets a good frag is hilarious.

I used to prefer GTV, but since streaming with www.levelupyourgame.net - i have learnt to appreciate that video coverage is alot better for the people behind it, directing and following the players as a community watching the video is far far better (and easier) in some gametypes.

However, i support GTV for games where streaming cannot be provided to an adequate level.

it might be better than traditional gtv

but it can in no way compete with a gtv done right :F (easy interface, shoutcast in sync, using your own config, multiview, an option to fucking disable the shoutcast (!!), and so on)

gtv has the built-in chat which is awesome the community.

True but there are always effort(less) ways around that with irc too, and in irc you can usually follow it better as the console is high res!

On that note, I actually hope quake live (id) enables a transparency cvar and high res console! i hate my massive text even on 1680x1050.. cq3.exe in cpma fixed it anyways
