We need more tdm demos ffs =(. Why doesn't ESL force players to upload some demos? Some don't even have screenshots!?

because TDM teams just don't even play their matches

oh cmon, loads of games do have scores, but no screens/demos. Why is it so hard to force it? After the game, the admin should be able to ask to player X to upload his demo. No demo/screen = forfeit, plain & simple. If it could be done in all the big ESL duel tournaments so far, why not in tdm?

When it's already so hard to have 2 teams playing their match, demos are really not our priority anymore.

maybe incentivize it somehow so that the teams that upload demos are rewarded? that way no more work for you

that's the question. i'm not really sure what options there are as i dont know the mechanics of the esl system.

only things i can think of are account upgrades for players who consistently upload over a long period of time?

a raffle perhaps? where a demo picked randomly from the season wins something?

person voted as uploading demo of the season wins something?

i don't really know. just thought it'd throw the idea out there.

The idea is usually to punish players who don't upload demos. But in the Summer Cups... we'd have to kick everyone from the cups if sanctions were applied : ]

sounds like that method isn't working very well then ;)

punish them not by penalty points that lead to exclusion if you got plenty but by -frags. :DDD

i mean we dont want to force someone who had a really shitty game to upload it and then make fun of him...clanbase like player of the match would be nice with him being forced to up demo.
1 demo a match or maybe 1 demo a team will be enough for most demo geeks. at least for me :x

Corrupted zip for me. How hard can it be to host a demo?

Demos are uploaded to my FTP, the zip i uploaded here wasn't corrupted, as you can see uploading doesn't work atm. Anyway, have fun.

I also re-uploaded demo to ESR if my FTP is somehow down. Maybe the file won't be corrupted this time.
