its not like it would change anything tho, since it takes id 1 month to add even a single of the always suggested features.

- Unfuck the netcode.
- Make actual new good maps (like, fuck, hire SOMEBODY with a good reputation in this community, id, your own staff clearly is incapable of originality)

I want to see rgb pm like skins that can be customized like osp.

Remove the ranged lg dmg and have a set number like 666 or 777.

In-game weapon stats. Have a bind that brings up weapon stats or incorporate it in the scoreboard

Better demo functionality. This should already be done by now. There needs to be a demo tab that opens a player of sorts.

after 2 years everything that is in q3 should already be in quakelive. just look at osp/cpma all the stuff that players can customize should already be in quakelive. This is what has made Quake great for a lot of people. The personal touch you can put on your setup.

I dont know but it seems like the devs dont really play quake. I get the vibe that they play just to test there work.. I dont think they love quake. maybe at some point in there life they did, but now i think they see it has a job now. need to get fresh blood in there that love quake

great site, the qw community did such a good job with everything they did

there's a greasemonkey script out there now that enables an alternative server browser. it's a list instead of lots of big icons.

on top of that there's also a "play demo" button, which I think you'll like for the time being.

I think he maybe right , but remember its still beta atm but the stuff thats out there already in osp/cpma/noghost thats been talked about and tested for years should already be added if not then before its fully released offically and not beta anymore , all they gotta do is a little research the suggestions are already there on forums like this and others , time to go browse and copy and paste to QL forum i guess.

that was talked about in the early closed beta stages. imo the answer will stay no, coz adding the threw tele, and grenade bounce of jumpads would requite to much map alteration

it could be a function available for the mappers, so it does not change current maps gameplay but it can be added on new maps (thought t9 would be funny with rockets through teles but not playable).
Grenade bouncing could be fun and useful for map control with some creativity of id mappers.

another suggestion that has not been mentioned: add old classic maps that are still missing. Hubaeroq3 (would seriously need timelimit 15, as it should be), japanese castles (best map ever), maybe overkill? (it is kinda replaced by quarantine).
Of course theres a need of good new maps, but come on...hub and japanese castles are incredible good

if thats their excuse then it is utter bullshit. they could spend the time adding in the new tele functionality that clearly isnt going into creating new maps

Watching rapha vs spartie in dm6, I thought, why not change the overtimes in the same way tennis works, ie: once in overtime, you win if you get to have two frags advantage. That way you can remove the unfairness of the sudden death, and the arbitrary XX seconds added.

thats the worst idea. sudden death is exciting, 2 min OT means that if you go down by a couple frags you could still come back = exciting

should be 2 min possibly 3 min OT.

it wouldnt work for quake, you know that in quake u gain momentum from each frag (u gain control), while its not the case in tennis

Its such a bitch trying to time pickups and coordinate teams in TDM when you have no idea when an item was taken and by who, apart from power-ups that is. Because you can't have a chat bind for everything.

Seriously, one would have thought id wont lose their time by inventing things that have been invented a long time ago and just add them into quakelive right away, then make some balance, good netcode, new maps and features and there u go.

I dont get it. Is it so hard to download cpma and check the features there?
