German eSport site www.fragster.de talked with

Kevin "strenx" Baeza after his last Dreamhack attendance, where he surprisingly placed second behind the polish power house

Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski after defeating team mate

Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira with a solid RG of about 45 % and his uproar with a devastating shaft of 40,75 % on

Magnus "Fox" Olsson.

But who is this young 17 year old guy who comes from Angers in France? fragster was asking:

Are you pursuing a certain goal, which you want to achieve? Have you got an idol? (Maybe St_Germain?)

strenx: I�m just playing for fun *laughs*, but of course I'm trying my best. My idol was fox when I was younger and I can't say he isn't it anymore. Actually I really played with St_Germain from time to time when I was very very young *laughs*.

Can i make this clear before anyone rants on about a cooler comparison etc, this is another young boy trying to rise up into a very short career as a pro gamer on a basic wage, also age doesnt really dictate skill, but simply as people age 20 + better priorities take over and gaming becomes far less competitive for that individual. I just wanted to get it out there before people start getting excited.

Exactly. Don't see what is so special that we need to see an abundance of EXCEL SPREADSHEETS for his aim accuracy. Last time I checked, Cypher, CZM, and every other top player never got that.

actually i dont think they are. sure, you see them in every tourney. but not from every player and not consistently.
but thats just guessing from what i saw in the last few month. would be interesting to see the actual numbers from other players/tourneys... would take a lot of time though :/

not true :)
winners = playing more then others, not just q3.. so in cpma players playing more, aim become better = won, then osp players played tct becomed better = won (ofcors not just aim in cpma and not just tct in osp).
Strenx played 2x more then other players , rapha played 2x more then other players and so on :)

yes but considering he's 100x better than me... i still don't see that as a proof of cheating. i even remember some old tdm demos of fox and gopher playing with 120 ping in OSP and hitting over 40% rail.

I kinda agree, i mean I have seen my own demo and thought myself that sure looks like a wallhack, no way you should have turned left at that moment...

Anyhow, but that lg scene where he switches players instantly does look kinda odd. And I guess we all did some retarded shit when we were, what, 14?
Not saying he did cheat for certain, but if he did I think it would be ok to forgive a 17 year old for something he did with 14. kinda.
