Hi,

i am currently trying to get LucasArts' Jedi Knight to work on my PC. So far i'm not getting further than 47% of the InstallShield Wizard, because it fails with this error MSG:

ISSET_SE caused a General Protection Fault in module KRNL386.EXE at 0002:173A. Choose close. ISSET_SE will close.

I googled a bit about this and just found a lot of threads where people tell you to uninstall or deactivate Norton Security. Since i never had anything Symantec related installed, that won't work for me.

I have WinXP Pro. SP3 installed and I mounted the *.cue file with Deamon tools. I also tried to copy the CD and install it through my real DVD-Drive. Didn't work.

ideas?

(i don't have Intellipoint-Software installed)

i dl'ed some "Jedi Knight Collection" from demonoid. i can install all other games, even Dark Forces, properly.
