I'm liking the glide of the Death Adder + Hyperglides. Hard to get here in the states though, I had to order my set from Sweden.

So why did you swap the feet on your death adder for HG's? What was wrong with the stock feet that Razer put on it?

They felt more like rubber than teflon. They literally made the mouse 'skid' rather than slide from side to side.
Too thin, horrible material, and actually increased the drag compared to no feet at all (I tried it before putting on the hyperglides.)

Why would you order from sweden? I order my hyperglides from http://www.hyperglide.net/ ships world wide afaik. Usually much cheaper than resellers as well.

Yeah, I'm liking the glide of my stock IME 3.0 feet over my DA with Hyperglides.

WMO or IMO1.1 with hyperglides or like brand. The stock feet are hard plastic and simply suck.

Steelseries have better quality teflon than hyperglides IMO, with better glide when you wear them down. Unfortunatly they aren't available for all mice, a little bit more expensive per pair and slightly thiner as well. First thing I do when I get a mouse is to order new feet from steelseries or hyperglide so I get used to one type of glide (consistency reasons).

Just curious, anyone know if there is a way to underclock a mouse? for example if you plug it in and theres no lower settings than 800/1000dpi and you want to run it at 400, is there a way this can be done?

The only way to do that would be lowering the Windows sensitivity. Other than that, you can't do anything.

hmm I thought I read something on here a while ago about going into regedit and messing with settings, could be wrong.

The windows sensitivity settings are stored in the registry, so you can edit the values set through the GUI there. Windows sens is ignored in DirectInput games though, so most games won't be affected by the change in sens.
