This years edition of the Swedish

Quake 3 ESWC Qualifiers is now announced!

Date: June 14-17
Place: Jönköping, Sweden
Event: DreamHack Summer
Player slots: 16 (Number may change if we have enough signups)

More information concerning signups will be released at a later date.
Please book this date in your calendars now. It will be a tournament to remember!

We hope it's to few, but we also know Swedish quakers are way to lazy to come to DreamHack.

CPL Nordic 2006 had 32 slots, where 20 or so were from Sweden.
ESWC Q4 2007 had troubles filling 16 spots.

And as noted in the post, if we have enough signups we will increase the slots.

weird though...such a big lan in sweden, where you seem to be born with fps-skill, having only a few quakers there?
we had german lans with over 100 UT players and it's not that big overall.

it's not about being swedish, it's unfortunately the very same in France, we barely make it to 16 players in big lans :/
people are overall lazy, and so am I ;p

Well, when you need sennheiser's helicopter headphones to play in a 50 meter range from the csers, I think it's understandable :/
That being said, Winz has these so he has to play the lazy card ;)

It is the only Quake 3 qualifier yes.

Counter-Strike and Wc3 has like 4-5 events + grand final at DreamHack.

DotA and Trackmania has yet to release their info
