civ 4 is the worst in the series

Hell no. civ III is where the suckage is at.

I still haven't dived deep into Civ4 yet. The few hours I've played though give it a lot of promise. I think it'll be much better than previous Civs once I get into it. I've just been busy with other games.

Ive actually never really given civ (any of them) a shot. Is it worth getting into?

Yeah definitely if you like strat games. It's turn based but it goes fast because you are always doing something. Just play the tutorial, and then play from the lowest difficulty up. Once you win, go up one difficulty. It gets very hard, very quick.

its the sort of game you play for hours and think you are kind of enjoying it and dont want to stop. then you get to the end and cant imagine why you found it so interesting. as a time sink it does its job perfectly.

Hell yeah, I play very fast though, I usually finish in 2 or 3 hours, but that's probably why I lose so much T_T

I got myself the collectors edition from an online shop for dirt cheap, it includes all the civ games up and including IV. I tried playing civ 3, but I dont quite get what to do :o. Ill give it another go this holiday.
