could someone tell me how to use the shoutcast? do i need to play it in winamp or something? i remember watching a demo where the commentary started automatically within q4 itself.

Its just a MP3 file so play it in whatever u usually play them in, winamp is fine.

This is not a democast (which is what you probably had before) as I didnt have time to make it so, sorry.

of course you couldn't make a working democast, due to the need for demo_enforceFS being set to 1 to play any demos for 1.1 version maps. =(

You misunderstand the english phrase. I didnt say it was about potential in this game. Its an english phrase.

OoZe has been one of the most consistent players for the last 3 or 4 months, on a par with all the others from Sweden in several competitions. He wasnt a surprise to do well at ESWC SE but he didnt play well last night, HENCE, he didnt play to his usually full potential.

Actually, joking aside, they are really nice. down to earth people and I reckon they would love to here from people about why they suck and specifically WHAT sucks about it all and they are pretty likely to then have a go at sorting it out (if its possible).

I cant grumble really, they give us 40gigs of free space with unlimited bandwidth, so failing that, its rapidshare and really, you dont want that im sure.

mine ususally plays like im getting 5fps until i click mouse1 and its relatively smooth for quake4 ;)

well i get that too but thats just when ur mouse pointer is stuck in windows or smt, click once and itl jump back to q4. im just having proper fps but when the players move their mouse it gets choppy, somewhat weird :p

spec demos are always laggy, even when recorded on lan (again, awesome programming by raven)

Hrm.. pretty glad the aerowalk I played wasn't like placebo.

placebo would be awesome if they got rid of those annoying ledges that are harder then normal to jump up. (RA ledges and the ledges at the LG, which force you to use the jump pad).
