Yes, I suggest you avoid CNN and similar tripe altogether, although it's sad that millions of people still watch them and think that they are more educated about the real world because of it :(

I usually read news from three main sources: CNN, TomDispatch (different from CNN and Co.) and Yahoo news.

Also used to read juancole.com, till he became too subjective for my taste, and because his (recent?) unprofessional behave.

I understand that Fox News is more reliable than other news giants in the news sector. Haven't follow it yet.

So I read different sources, while I stay away from extremist sources, like Russian and Central-North Asian news sites or sources who develop bloody ridiculous theories (Margaret Thatcher is reptilian, Obama is from outer space, The Dragons Alliance, descendants from Atlantida, is making the rules etc. etc.)
