Well, I am no UT player, or Pro Quake player, nor am i a CS player, but from my experience, the sensor handles about 27-30cm/360 fine overclocked.

Can't tell ya. Use accel. Problem solved for low sens @ IE 3.0 wotever.

I'd say I can get neg accel consistently at around 30cm/360 when I really want to make it crap out though I only feel it innormal game conditions above 35cm/360 ( which is my sweet spot for slow paced games anyway so it's good enough for me )

So just pick the safest route and assume that it starts to fuck up on 180° züberflicks around 30cm/360.

You don't need 1000hz. It does 500hz stable though.

But I mean - IE3.0 is propably the worst built mouse out there. Everything wobbles, sometimes doesnt click, sometimes clicks extra, etc etc.

If by scrollwheel glitch you mean that sometimes it scrolls down itself - yes, but doesn't really bother me and its not all the time.

that largely depends on how fast you move your mouse btw, some people will hit much higher speeds (m/s) with the same cm/360°.
