Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.
There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Format: 4 week Swiss, 4-week Single Elim Bracket, completing in 8 weeks.
Not so much of an announcement or a recent release, but more of a reminder that there is actually a lively community playing the game that invented Overwatch. It is, of course, Team Fortress mod from the oldest instalment of Quake, now available as a standalone game that requires you do nothing but slap the download link.
Most notable features of the modernised game client are multi platform support (Win, Linux) and support for potat pcs that is bound to make our friends behind the modern day Iron Curtain happy (they even got #russia on discord!). Other than that, it's all down to the community which is hosting 2v2 & 4v4 TF leagues, ladders and overall keeps the game alive either through constant development or daily pickup games.
If you're interested in pugging, first step would be to hop on to the website and grab the client and optional files. Next up, sign in to the website via discord and grab your token. Run the game client and paste the line in to console. Congrats, you're ready to play! Hop on to the discord server and sign yourself up for a few games. And in true quaker fashion, don't watch the tutorials on how to play (because you're the best player!) and simply annoy the rest of your team mates for the day.

Valve officially released Counter-Strike 2, its sequel/free upgrade to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, today, Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
Counter-Strike was first released as a modification for Valve's Half-Life as a beta in 1999. Valve purchased the rights to Counter-Strike in 2000 and released a string of updates. CS 1.3, released in 2001, quickly became one of the most popular games in the world, and helped to pioneer and catapult competitive gaming to a larger international audience. In 2003, Valve released CS 1.6 exclusively on its then-new platform, Steam. One year later, in 2004, Counter-Strike: Source launched and fought for popularity against 1.6 for many years, until Counter-Strike Global Offensive was released in 2012. CS:GO has since dominated as one of Steam's most popular games; most often claiming the number 1 position in popularity.
Counter-Strike 2 iterates on the Global Offensive formula with significant updates to netcode, graphics, and gameplay. Official servers implement a new approach to backwards reconciliation with the introduction of subticks, a lay-explanation of which can be found in Valve's official Moving Beyond Tick Rate video. Valve attempted to cater to competitive and casual desires for scene clarity by meticulously refining visibility of models against the backgrounds of maps. An additional highlighted update to the gameplay is dynamic and reactive smoke grenade behavior, which sees smoke grenade volumes responding to environmental disturbances such as explosions and bullets and causally filling the surrounding environment geometry.
From the CS2 Steam store page:A free upgrade to CS:GO, Counter-Strike 2 marks the largest technical leap in Counter-Strike’s history. Built on the Source 2 engine, Counter-Strike 2 is modernized with realistic physically-based rendering, state of the art networking, and upgraded Community Workshop tools.
In addition to the classic objective-focused gameplay that Counter-Strike pioneered in 1999, Counter-Strike 2 features:
Qualified players:
-> From the QPL : Vengeur, Rapha, K1llsen, Raisy, Zenaku, Maxter, Nosfa, Strongsage, Dramis, Av3k, Serious, Cha1n, Toxjq, Psygib, Sib, Xron.
-> From the challengers : Garpy, Cnz, Bukster, Keltz, Dandaking, Spart1e, Yup, Effortless.
Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions, Av3k, Serious, Xron and Yup won't be able to come.
Format : The challengers and bottom seeds from the QPL fight it out in a group stage. The best two from each group will be able to join the top 8 QPL seeds into a double elimination bracket.
