I've watched the vod but maybe missed a few things because I was doing other stuff at the same time. Could anyone help me summarize ? I think I caught these few infos :
- Gore : coming but takes time because they're doing champions one by one to make it look really good/realistic
- CTF : still gathering ideas for maps, a CTF symmetrical map is in pre-alpha or something.
- Duel : still testing out different gameplays
- Menu/Loadtime : overhaul in the works, faster into games, much shorter warmup period, rematch reworked
- Instagib : coming very soon
- 2v2 mode : still polishing stuff, mainly UI
- Classic mode : will not be a 'mode', will be an option in custom games, with ACTIVE abilities disabled
- Maps : aside from the CTF map that's probably not even started yet, a new duel map is in the works
- Lore : more intuitive feedback to players when they get some lore
- Performance : Vulkan still in the works, no ETA, small improvements on every update and constant work on it
- Tutorials : no real hints, but CMs might launch a community contest for video tutorials in a couple months
- PTS : under a 100 people for the first wave, mostly handpicked for having issues in the game, more later.
- Demos : ask SyncError next Friday
- Mwheel fix : nothing
i wonder if they took developers off qc or if there never were more than 5 peope working on it from the beginning. unlike most people here i enjoy playing the game quite a bit but its not where it needs to be and with the current pace, you might aswell just wait half a year and check again
Its amazing. id/saber makes a competitor to overwatch which is being managed by blizzard with monthly updates from the lead dev and they have a huge team and budget.. who the fk makes these decisions?
Whoa, some part of the Saber team has RC Cars title listed at the start of their career. So they went from racing games to first person shooters. Quakemania?
